Brilliant get started guide for students or teachers, not much depth but covers all the basics in an engaging and easy to understand manner. Recommended!

Pretty good book for £5. Contains some interesting pages on advertising, and touches on the politics of printed media, also a couple of pages on stereotypes. A few pages on media production, also a couple of pages on how women are represented in the media. On a more negative note sometimes the graphics take up more room then they need to, and some of the drawings don't really add much. But for £5 probably worth it.

I have found this really useful for my media A level and would recommend to anybody studying or interested in the media. Really good!

This is a very immaure and annoying book. Hardly any information, and no interesting or useful information. It is a tacky, low-brow,, cheap book, with irritating and pointless childlike and trashy animations. POOR.
