Great price and accurate measurements
Very easy to use. It’s the same size as a credit card so it will fit in your pocket. It also comes with a nice sleeve to protect from scratches. It’s solid and I don’t see the markings wearing off any time soon as they are etched on rather than painted. I’d say it’s also very accurate having measured it against my other gauges. If you need something to measure the string action on your guitar, then this is a great product. It can also be used to measure other areas on the guitar and functions as a ruler for everything from the nut height to the saddle height. It measures string gauge and offers measurements in millimetres and inches and on the back provides recommended string heights at the 12th fret, to help you adjust your truss rod. It’s also very affordable! A no-brainer for guitarists.

Great under the optimal conditions. Probably.
Probably very useful in a very brightly lit area, if you can maneuvere yourself into the correct viewing angle, and if you have very good close-up eyesight. Otherwise, it's utility is highly debatable. The stainless steel is quite dark, so the black markers are difficult to see sharply against it except in optimal lighting conditions (well, presumably so, if those conditions were available). If the gauge had black markers on white then things would be a lot easier. So, now I'm trying to figure out how to obtain the "macro" setting on my phone camera (which normally activates when I don't want it to, but now seems not to even exist, of course) to at least get a close-up photo pic of the gauge measuring the string action. Ah well....

Not a bad guitar set up ruler, quality seems all well and good. Markings engraved and fairly easy to read. Metric and imperial.
