Review: Very detailed guide book - Great travel guide like all Rick Steves guides. Very detailed description of what to do where to do it and costs.. Looking forward to my trip to Istanbul next year. Review: Great guide book -- makes the city manageable for anyone - Great book. Classic Rick Steves style -- excellent walking tours, museum highlights, and restaurant recommendations. Excellent for budget travelers and people who just want to see the real Turkiye. I wish it covered more than the three geographic areas in the title but maybe there will a future book that covers more areas. I live in Istanbul and recommend this book to all my guests.

A good guide
My wife started reading it from the the beginning and, somehow later, read it all the way through a pretty good guide if a bit simplistic and down market

More than just Istanbul
Typical Rick Steves but this one has good sections on other places in Turkiye like Ephesus and Cappadocia. Very complete.

Rick Steves does it again!
Rick Steves does it again! This book has a lot of great suggestions for cultural tours, restaurants, hotels, food, and how to stay safe in Istanbul. We are looking forward to visiting some of Rick's recommended spots when we travel there.

Delivered early, seems expensive.
Books are getting too expensive, Would have been nice to have a map included. Like the walking tours in Istanbul, used Ricks Portugal book in Porto & Lisbon. Looking forward to Turkey trip.

To much text .not a tourist book but a history book
Itโs very nice and well written .but itโ to be a tourist travel book.not a history book, And where are the pictures??? Only reason we travel is to take pictures .so would be nicer than 400 pages of black ink??
