Great Design and Useful Features in One Bottle
I’ve been using this bottle for a while now, and overall I’m really happy with it. The design is sleek and minimal, and the stainless steel feels very durable and high-quality. The self-cleaning feature is a great addition it gives peace of mind and keeps the bottle feeling fresh without much effort. I also appreciate how well it keeps water cool for long periods, which makes it perfect for daily use. There’s also an option to track your water intake through the app, which can be helpful if you like keeping an eye on your hydration habits. Overall, it’s a well-designed, practical bottle that feels like a nice upgrade from a regular one.

Great investment in my health
I recently purchased the LARQ Bottle PureVis 2, and I must say this has been one of the best investments in my health and daily routine. From the very first use, I could tell that this product was thoughtfully designed with both functionality and modern lifestyle in mind. The biggest advantage for me is the self-cleaning UV-C technology. I no longer have to worry about bacteria, unpleasant odors, or constantly scrubbing the bottle. The purification process is quick, effective, and gives me peace of mind knowing that my water is always fresh and safe to drink. The hydration tracking feature through the app is another fantastic addition. It helps me stay on top of my daily water intake, something I used to struggle with. The gentle reminders are motivating without being annoying, and I’ve already noticed a positive difference in my overall energy levels and well-being. The bottle itself is sleek, durable, and beautifully designed. The double-wall insulation really works – my water stays cold for hours, even on hot summer days. The detachable handle makes it easy to carry around, whether I’m at the gym, in the office, or traveling. I also love the fact that it comes with a filter straw, making it even more versatile. Yes, it is a premium product, but in my opinion, it’s worth every penny. It combines health, convenience, and sustainability in one stylish package. Since I started using it, I drink more water every day and feel more confident about the quality of what I’m consuming. Overall, I would highly recommend the LARQ Bottle PureVis 2 to anyone who values clean water, innovative technology, and a high-quality product that truly delivers on its promises. This is not just a water bottle – it’s an upgrade to a healthier lifestyle.

No more plastic water bottles!
These are hands down the best water bottles out there. I do not go anywhere without mine. It truly cleans itself and purifies my water, allowing me to confidently drink tap water and completely stop buying massive plastic packs. If I could change one thing, it would be the size because I wish it held a bit more. However, the compact size means it fits in most car cup holders. It can be a tight squeeze or a no go in some, which gets slightly irritating, but the smart features and water tracking are fantastic. The battery life is also impressive since it holds a charge for a long time and you rarely have to plug it in.

Filter Is Cumbersome. Intake Tracking Is Buggy.
UPDATE: Having spent more time with this smart water bottle I feel it's probably fair to upgrade my review from 2 stars to 3 stars. The main reason being that the water consumption tracking feature does seem to work somewhat better than I initially thought. It's not flawless, and there are times when it doesn't record consumption, but for the most part it seems to be working well enough....there can be a lag, it might initially miss hen you'e taken sips, but eventually it seems to get it right. I’m really frustrated with this LARQ Pure Viz 2 water bottle. Before I dive into the negatives there are some positives to note. The bottle and components are well made, of very high quality, it looks and feels great and overall has the feel of a premium product. It’s also very very good at keeping things cold for a long time (I have not tried anything warm or hot). It’s also surprisingly robust and I feel it will stand up well to any abuse. The app is also quite well designed, free from clutter and very user friendly, and also allows you to manually add anything you drink from other sources (e.g you can manually add tea/soda/coffee consumption). However, these are standard expectations for a premium water bottle and no better than other luxury water bottles from companies like Hydroflask etc. Larq claims that the bottle does two main things - track water consumption and purify water. Well the water tracking, which is the main reason I bought this bottle, simply does not work to any degree of reliability, most of the time it fails to record that I have taken a drink from it. From reading online reviews and Amazon reviews it’s clear this is a common problem. The “fix” is usually to reset the bottle and while this is simple to do (from the app) it’s hugely frustrating to have to do this on a regular basis and not at all the user experience one should expect from a supposedly premium product at this price point. Secondly, it’s my understanding that the bottle is supposed to notify you when it’s time to take a drink. This notification doesn’t work either .I bought this bottle because I don’t drink enough water, my understanding was that these notifications would appear on my phone but that isn’t the case (yes, I have notifications turned on, etc). Notification occur on the bottle itself in the form of a flashing LED ring on the top of the bottle, there’s no audio notification so unless you have your bottle with you and in sight you’re not going to be aware of these notifications…and if it’s out of sight then you are bang out of luck. Apparently there are updates planned that will enable phone notifications, but for now the notification feature is what it is, and sucks. Thirdly, the filtration system takes up a lot of inside pace and makes it super difficult to actually drink from the bottle. The filter has to be installed in a very specific way and it’s honestly quite challenging to do so right and took a lot of trial and error to do so. It also means that ice is out, I’ve tried putting ice in the bottle with the filter installed and it’s just impossible to get anything more than a few sips from it. I’ve ended up removing the filter and straw entirely and just using this as a standard water bottle. Also, the bottle seems to hold less than advertised (even with the filter removed) but I haven’t actually measured it yet. Overall this gets two stars from me purely because I like the quality, look and feel of the actual bottle itself, and that’s it. Everything else sucks. This is getting returned.

Great clean water
I’ve been using the LARQ Bottle PureVis for a while now, and overall it’s a really solid upgrade from a regular water bottle. The built-in UV-C purification is what makes it stand out—it gives peace of mind that your water and bottle stay clean, especially when traveling or refilling from unknown sources. The design is sleek and minimal, and it definitely feels premium. I also like that it helps reduce odors, so the bottle doesn’t get that typical “stale” smell over time. That said, it’s not cheap, and you do have to remember to charge it. But if clean water and convenience matter to you, it’s worth the investment.

Impressed, so far - impossible to register via the app
Precisely milled mug that seems to do what it says. I don't have a lab for testing the water for pathogens, but I can confirm the water tates good. The UV light indicator comes on when I press the button in the cap. I have also seen the light come on by itself when tracking how much water I am drinking. I am not sure if it also activates in UV sanitizing mode on its own, or only when I initiate it. The mug is attractive and fits in my carry-on pack's side pockets. It does not leak when the sip cover is secured. The carry handle should prove convenient. Note that the instructions specify only clean water be used. That surprises me a little, given that it exists to purify water. The mug is meant to function comparably to a Brita (or similar) pitcher, not to cleanse silty or muddy water, but to remove chlorine, lead, particulates, foul tastes, and other common annoyances and threats from municipal. The UV for killing organic pathogens is an extra level of protection, should you have to get water from clear source that has a higher than safe concentration. My only gripe is that the registration form in the LARQ app WILL NOT accept the bottle's serial number. The instructions say, "You can find the serial number on the sticker located on the bottom of your bottle, or on the barcode of the box." There is not image to clarify which number is the the SN and none of the numbers are accepted. There is a Q code and a barcode, but the app does not support scanning the box label for registration. In short, it's impossible to register the product through the app. For a technology company, that's a fail. As for more extreme situations, such as purifying water from ponds, lakes, streams, puddles, and other untreated sources, you'll want a Life Straw or other camping or survival purification solution.

Good
I’ve been using this LARQ bottle for a few days now and I really like it. The design is sleek and feels premium, and the water actually tastes fresh. I love the self-cleaning feature — it gives peace of mind, especially when you’re on the go. It’s also easy to use and holds temperature well. A bit pricey, but worth it for the quality and convenience. Definitely recommend!

I Like It
UPDATE 04/01/2025: The app has been updated! We can now see our intake by date, time, amount, and type (water, coffee, tea, soda, juice, milk). We can now also do manual editing; we can enter amounts not consumed from the bottle! It is awesome! If I knew how, I would give 4.5 stars. Only thing missing is the audible drink reminder. The light reminder is nice, but I don't always have it in my line of sight. The measurement is very accurate. If the measurement gets off, you simply have to follow some simple steps, and boom-back on track! And yes, the UV light works. I can taste the difference. I highly recommend. I really like this water bottle. I think I did another review, saying that the app needs some extra features (which I'm sure will be added), but it tracks my water intake very well. I'm very glad that I have it. I really like the size of mine (23oz). The water always tastes great, and it stays cold for hours. It has an automatic cleaning mode, which I use every day. I like the idea of the filter, but the straw design needs a little tweaking; it could be a little longer, as to allow more emptying before having to refill. All in all, I'm glad I have it. I dropped it today and was so upset that I scratched the nice finish on the exterior (barely noticeable). It still works just fine after dropping it. Kudos LARQ!

amazing for travel and for everyday use at home
I recently bought the Larq PureVis 2, and so far it's been a great investment! I drink a lot of water every day, and where I live the tap water has a lot of clorine, , so I usually avoid it and just buy water. With Larq I can drink it!! I'm so happy about that! So happy that i will be purchasing a bigger bottle for home, and this 680ml will be just for traveling. PS I'm currently in Thailand where tap water is not good for drinking - I drank it with Larq, perfectly fine! 100% would recommend!

Really nice drinking water
Exceeded expectations. I work in remote rural locations where the water is clear and safe to drink but heavily chlorinated. In the bottle it smells so strong of chlorine, fill from the tap and not a single hint of chlorine taste. The filters are pricey but so worth it if you want nice tasting water. Plus it tracks every sip of water so you actually see how much or little you are hydrated.

Water from LARQ Bottle PureVis 2 tastes great
The LARQ Bottle PureVis 2 water bottle is perfect for staying hydrated and healthy. Its technology to sanitize water and clean the bottle’s inner surfaces, neutralizing harmful bacteria is great feature for me as I like to visit rural areas all over the world, soon going to Egypt. The Nano Zero filtration that removes chemicals like chlorine and PFOA/PFOS greatly improves taste. Now that Android LARQ app is out I can track my hydration which is great add-on. The bottle’s double-wall insulation keeps water cold for whole day. The USB-rechargeable battery lasts for more than 2 weeks without problem. I was skeptical at first about USB-C charging port being close to water but splash-proof and waterproof protection of it works great. Overall, the LARQ Bottle PureVis 2 is a super convenient, clean and stylish way to stay hydrated on the go. Definitely worth it.

A Perfect Blend of Style, Durability, and Advanced Hygiene
The first thing you’ll notice is the stunning design—sleek, modern, and beautifully crafted. The surface feels great to the touch, and the fingerprint-resistant finish keeps it looking clean and premium. As soon as you hold it, the sturdy build quality stands out, exuding durability and attention to detail. Assembly is a breeze—quick and straightforward. Cleaning is equally hassle-free, thanks to the USB-C port being splash-proof and the bottle’s unusually wide mouth. The wide opening is especially handy for adding ice cubes to keep your drink refreshingly cool. One of its standout features is the UV light, which automatically cleans the bottle, eliminating odors and ensuring it stays fresh. Paired with the built-in filter, it provides unmatched peace of mind, letting you confidently fill it with water from virtually anywhere. This bottle is a perfect blend of functionality, design, and advanced technology. Highly recommended for anyone seeking convenience and hygiene in a stylish package!
