Easy to work with. The adhesive is sticky, duh. But what I mean is it's difficult to cut with scissors and sticks to fingers. It comes off by rubbing them on a cloth. Seems to stay adhered to walls and metals. I found it pretty satisfactory.

I bought this to add some sound dampening to my homeserver, and it does a fair job at it. I have applied it on the inside of the PC case, to the bottom, the top, and both removable sides. it has substantially changed the noise emissions from the gaggle of enterprise HDDs housing my data. From this day forward, every desktop PC or homeserver I build will use this stuff.

I used this on the roof of my Chinese excavator. That thing was humming along quite well at many frequencies and needed to be attenuated. I bought this product for this purpose but quickly found out that it was not dense enough. While it did attenuate the noise by about 50%, the material is just not dense enough to get more out of it. I will say though that the glue they used is fantastic. If/when I remove it to install something different, it’ll be a chore to take it off.

Lined my wdriverside door in it. No difference in sound, maybe some thermal difference. Look elsewhere in my opinion.
