PCI Interface dual port NIC
Works well and recognized. Only getting about 60-75% of max at least in my setup but awesome if need ports for older setup or PCI.

It works flawlessly in my firewall appliance running Sophos UTM
The product was exactly as described - It is indeed a PCI card, not a PCI-E, as many reviews stated. It slipped into a PCI slot on my ASUS motherboard, and when I rebooted, provided me with two additional gigabit ethernet ports. My fiber internet connection went from 100 mbs, to around 600 mbs immediately. Thanks!

I have been looking for a 1gb dual nic card that was PCI not PCIe for a very long time
I had been looking to use a VERY old computer (only 32bit pci slots) for a pfsense box and I had the parts in my desk drawer for quite some time. The very last piece that I needed was the Dual 1GB nic card that was PCI not PCIe. I had been duped several times before and was a little hesitant to get this card and waste another bit of money on something I could not use in this box, but I am glad I did, because this was perfect.

Can't Get It Right
This item was listed as a PCI network card and the accompanying picture in the listing showed a card with a PCI configuration for insertion into the bus. When I received the item, the label on the box clearly stated PCI. Upon opening it, I found it was a PCIe (PCIexpress) configuration and not compatible. I returned it, and believing it was a simple mistake, re-ordered the same PCI network card. When I received the replacement shipment, the box stated PCI, but upon opening it was AGAIN a PCIe. I returned it and bought another brand.

Instantly recognized by Unraid!
Easy to install, and instantly recognized by Unraid. I used this card to setup pfSense in a virtual machine within unraid. Been working like a charm from day one. Would buy again.

Jeirdus 8492MT works with ESXI 6.7 and TrueNASCore 12
Bought network card instead of over-priced name brand to install ESXI on old hardware, noticed that ESXI v7.0 didn't recognize card (bummer), however ESXI v6.7 did. Using ISO "VMware-VMvisor-Installer-6.7.0.update03-14320388.x86_64.iso" from VMware site, without additional driver considerations and "TrueNAS-12.0-RELEASE.iso" from iXsystems. Your millage may very, however, the card is very responsive and has no problems with keeping up with network traffic. Definitely worth the < $25 price paid for it. Thanks Jeirdus!

Dual Gig Ethernet NIC
For the money, this Intel based chip was an excellent buy. I used it for a linux router and was concerned about driver support. Needless to say it just purrs along and has improved the i/O of the router. Thanks for the excellent product.

Works, But watch out!!!
Bought one of these and it worked but immediately overheated and I lost the network. Figured nobody has 100% manufacturing and for the cost it wasn't worth returning so I ordered another. Go figure..... exact same issues with the second card! So, until I can get another card that works I'm required to have a small fan blowing across the card, which means the case is open??!!! Look a bit further and get a card that works....... correctly, all the time!!

Works in pfSense
I ordered this card to replace 2 - 100 MB NICs in a pfSense box. Worked immediately, no drivers to load.

Poor half and full duplex mode. Using both ports - bandwidth drops even more.
Sadly, those can never reach the advertised speed despite being capable to do it with another brand. I got 2 , so I doubt its a product defect. First I checked the mothermoard socket's max bandwidth and it seems that the controller on this NIC is not capable of reaching even half (of MB maximum) in a non-duplex mode. Using both ports on the NIC completely degredates performance but in a active/passive setup it will do the job for a home user (not poweruser, just a regular one). I wouldn't recommend you exactly this model.

Awesome PCI Network Card
Excellent card !!! :) Works no probs under Win10x64 - uses Windows drivers, so no downloads or installs... :) Works in PFSense, no probs !!! :) Works with VMWare ESXi-6.5 / 6.7 OS if I remember correctly... ALL ABOVE OS's SEE THE CARD AS 2 SEPARATE CARDS, SO 2 SEPERATELY CONFIGURABLE INDEPENDENT 1gb NETWORK PORTS... ONLY WORKS WITH VMWARE ESXI-7 USING 'PCI-PASSTHROUGH' - NOT SUPPORTED IN ESXI-7+ OS !!! WIN10 - CANT DO 'NIC TEAMING' TO COMBINE THE NICS FOR 2gb SPEED, COS INTEL SOFTWARE DOESNT WORK WITH WIN10 DRIVERS, AND NO NEW INTEL DRIVERS AS FAR AS I KNOW... !!! PROBABLY THE SAME FOR WINDOWS SERVER OS's I THINK 'NIC-TEAMING' STILL WORKS UNDER WIN-7 AND SERVER-2008-R2, USING INTEL DRIVERS, BUT DEF CHECK THE INTEL SUPPORT / DRIVER DOWNLOAD PAGE, ETC... CARD ALSO COMES WITH A HALF-SIZE BRACKET, AND AN INTEL 'DRIVER CD / DISK' !!! :) And the last one I just bought had a silver heatsink instead of a black heatsink... :) Hope helps... !!! :)

This card is PCI
This is not PCIe (not pci express) it's the old PCI standard. Don't be dumb like me, only buy it for legacy hardware. 5 stars because I couldn't test it and it's not the seller's fault...
