Very Durable
This kite is fantastic! We had a little trouble getting it in the air at first but when we followed the directions and took the tails off the sides (the wind wasn't very strong) it went up with minimal effort. It was easy to control in the winds we were dealing with as well. At one point we got the kite stuck very high up in a tree and I was devastated because I thought we'd either not be able to get it down or that we'd break it in the process. I was tugging at it really hard and the kite ended up coming out with no scratches or tears or anything, despite being raked through a series of small branches. I was really impressed with that. Five stars for sure :)

Overpriced
I was disappointed in the overall size and material composition of this kite at this price point. This is one of the disadvantages of purchasing a product without being able to see it other than in pictures first. The kite has not yet been flown. When my grandson visits and actually flies the kite, I will have a better idea as to its functionality and durability.

Very cool kite!
Took this camping for my children and I to play with. Pretty good deal on it from Amazon. Saw it on another website for more $$$. It is a nice big sturdy kite. Won't break the bank on it, and it's not some cheesy flimsy toy.

Flies great, essentially indestructible
Our daughter got her heart set on a kite, so I looked around for something that would be easy to fly and would hold up well. These Into the Wind kites were the right choice. We took the kite out a windy day recently, and it launched without any problems whatsoever. We crashed it a couple of times while we were out, but my daughter is three and I don't think I've flown a kite in fifteen or twenty years, so we might chalk that up to user error. Most of the time the kite flew effortlessly, and it suffered no ill effects from having come back to earth hard. So it gets high marks for being user-friendly in that regard. But it gets better: the wind was strong, we had the string all the way out, and I let the thing get away from me. I chased it across a field, but the kite lodged four or five stories up in an oak tree at the edge of the park before I could corral it. I worked the string and was able to get the kite to the edge of a branch, but the tails held it tight in the tree; eventually the string snapped. A massive thunderstorm rolled through that night and beat the town most of the next day. The kite was still lodged in the tree the morning after we had gotten it stuck, but when I stopped in the park on the way home from work that evening, there was the kite on the ground, along with part of the branch on which it had been stuck. The velcroed tails had come loose and remained in the tree, but the main body of the kite was completely intact: no tears, no broken spars, despite having been lodged in a tree, tugged and dragged on, and then subjected to twenty-four hours of wind and rain. I've never seen a kite so sturdy. At this rate, I expect it will last forever.

Great flyer
My 3 year old could fly this with very little wind and got a battering coming out unscathed from flying in relatively strong winds. It was as if it was fighting to fly which is what you want with little ones with short concentration spans. The handle is great, easy for little hands to hold either single handed or otherwise.Quite sturdy as it got stuck in a palm tree and did't succumb to concerted tugging efforts to release it. The spool length is amazing as I have had to snip a couple of inches off on account of extreme tangling and there is still more than enough left over.

Great kid's kite
Another very well made kite by 'Into the Wind'. This one is pretty easy for children to fly and you don't need a whole lot of wind to get it up--(maybe 5 mph.). The little tails are attached so that's convenient too.

Rainbow Delta Kite
Bought this kite for my son and 2 grandsons for Christmas. After looking at most the the available kites, I settled on this one because it was colorful (for the 2 young boys) and because the description indicated that it is one of the easiest kites to fly. The construction description indicated that it could take a little more wear and tear than some of the other kites shown. Can hardly wait until spring!

Great first kite
This is not only a kids kite but can be used by adults also. I got one for my nephew and he loves it. I flew it and I liked it to. Great starter kite. Looks great in the air. Comes with everything you need. Nice case to keep it nice for a long time.Cons: Use the streamers in winds above 10 mph or it wont fly stable. Flies great with the streamers.
