break easily

ok
they are pretty and feel like good quality. but they break easily if you pull them apart to hard and they fall of your ear frequently like many other pressure earrings

Don't understand how it's supposed to work
I thought this would be like an earrings, but you have to bend it, and i dint see how it's going to put pressure on keloid. I'm returning it.

Tiny, uncomfortable, and hard to put on--skip these unless you have keloid scars on your ear lobes.
I do NOT have keloid scars on my ear lobes, so I'm not the best person to evaluate these earrings. i picked them up because I've broken the back off of some of my old clip-ons and wondered if I could save them by gluing them onto these flat little earrings. But after trying to wear these tiny little earrings right out of the package, I found that they are very difficult to open and close, so I'm rethinking that repair plan. Because they are so small, they seem to "disappear" when I'm wearing them. As you can see from some of the photos, the earring fronts and backs have a thick wire connecting them. They are shipped in the "closed" position, with the fronts and backs of the earrings parallel to each other. To put them on, you must first pry them open--which is relatively hard to do, especially at first--then put them onto your ear lobe and squeeze them back together--also hard to do. They have a tendency to slip off your ear if you do not compress the wire sufficiently, but they can really hurt if you compress them too much. There's quite a bit of trial and error involved in getting these to fit well without falling off. Again, perhaps if I had keloid growths on my ear lobes, I would appreciate the vice-grip needed to keep them from falling off my ears, but I do not, hence the one star review. I also wonder how long it would take for the wire connectors to snap from repeated openings and closings. I am definitely not a fan of the wire taking the place of the trusty (and granted, painful at times) hinge for these 21st century clip-on earrings, but that's the construction I keep running across in my quest to find earrings that are attractive and reasonably priced. Time to get my ears pierced, I guess!
