Great hose
Today I used my new hose which was a great experience, as I've never owned a stretchy hose. I owned a very well known brand of hose which very heavy and kinked each time so i would end up washing the car with a bucket. The quality and performance and the lightness of the fitlife hose made washing the car effortless. I highly recommend it.

Well made
So far, so good. Have only been using it for a couple of weeks. Leaks a bit around the spray head end, but this seems par for the course with all of these expandable hoses. I like the strong brass fixings though and it attaches firmly to the garden tap. It reaches right across my large garden without tangling and has a good selection of spray options. Not cheap, but does the job better than previous ones which had plastic fittings and thinner hoses.

Expandable garden hose that stays tidy
I picked this expandable hose because I was tired of dragging a heavy hose around and dealing with knots every time I watered the garden. It expands fast once the tap is on and it retracts neatly when the water is off which makes storage much easier. The fabric outer layer also helps it glide over patio edges and grass without feeling fragile or to have the feeling it will break. The spray patterns are useful because I can switch from a gentle mist for plants to a stronger jet for rinsing the patio or washing the car in seconds, sometimes I even wash the car using this hose. I also liked that it comes with connectors so it was ready to use straight away and after a few sessions I did not notice any leaking at the joints. It is a handy option for watering, cleaning quick outdoor jobs and even rinsing the dog after a muddy walk and the best trick is letting it drain fully before putting it away so it shrinks down properly and stays compact for next time. Even after using it in the garden the actual hose stays intact and there is no damage from the stairs that I am keep moving it around

Works only with 4 Bar pressure or above
I chose this hose because it states – (1) ‘Triple layer latex inner tube is the highest quality material on the market, to strength the durability, no more burst’, (2) ‘Strong And Durable, No More Burst: The premium elastic outer fabric is more dense and rugged than before, can protect the inner tube effectively, provides superior protection from thorns, puncture, sharp corners, more resistance to bursting and leaks, prevent damage from normal friction of dragging on the ground’, (Their bad English not mine) and (3) ‘Solid metal connectors’. I do not know why they state that ‘endurance test can up to 1100-1200 uses compared to the typical life of only 200-250 uses under the water pressure of 145 PSI/10 Bar’. NOTE! (1) Nobody should have 10 Bar or anything above 5.5 Bar as this will potentially damage your home appliances and plumbing system; good pressure in the UK is between 2 and 5 Bar, typically 3 to 4 Bar. Water companies are only required by law to supply a minimum of 1 Bar pressure. NOTE! (2) The specification table says, ‘Water pressure request, 4 Bar’. What it should say is, Minimum required water pressure, 4 Bar, (this is above average) if not, you are left with a floppy un-extended hose, like me; I only have a healthy average of 3 Bar, (44psi), so check your water pressure before ordering! NOTE! (3) The hose fittings do not allow direct use of many other manufacturers fittings: push as hard as you like but the connector will not lock (or click) on, the fittings supplied are slightly shorter than standard, to allow for this the female connectors have a spacer washer inside, If you want to use any other standard hose fittings you need to remove this washer, then making sure you have a decent O-ring fitted on the male connector; then this will allow it to act as per a standard fitting. The spay head, which is excellent; comes without an O-ring fitted (male connector), to allow it to fit their female connector; but the hose kit does come with a good selection of washers and O-rings allowing the male connector to be adapted to fit a standard female connector. So, if you have pressure of at least 4 Bar and will only be using the hose and fittings as supplied (not using any of your own) then all will be well, but as I stated, it does not expand or work for me!

Expect it to last 3 seasons with careful handling
I love an expanding hose and would never go back to the normal type as its so much neater in my small garden. All have faults but of those I have had, this paricular one has proved the longest lasting. I have just purchased a second one after my first one went to hosepipe heaven after 3 seasons. So my review is based on having experienced a full life cycle. On the plus side the outer layer is sturdier than the 2 other brands I've tried. The brass fittings are decent so the hosepipe has never popped off my tap - however the ends are a tad tighter than standard so when my spray end started leaking and I bought one to replace it I had a pig of a time including several soakings (these hoses are lethal when free range) before I got it to finally stay firm. So the spray ends do leak eventually. I tried taping my first one up but it didn't work at all. This is not a hose you can use without a spray end on - its like fighting a serpent if you lose grip for a second. My tip would be to never throw away spray ends on old and broken hoses as you might need a spare! For almost 3 years this expandable hose had no leaks - i was very careful not to drag it across rough ground or round the legs of garden furniture. I also kept it indoors in winter. Then it developed one leak after another in the space of a few weeks - presumably due to deterioration of the inner rubber pipe despite my careful handling. . I bought a generic repair kit online - amazon do several - and with no little difficulty repaired the first two leaks. I gave up at the third on the basis it was going to keep happening and fixing the first two leaks had already cost me all my fingernails. Hopefully this second hose will last as long or longer than the first with no leaks but I bought the shorter version ( less pipe to spring leaks lol). The price has anyway gone up hugely so the short hose now costs as much as I paid for the long hose originally. A traditional hosepipe would be definitely be more economical, though less convenient for me so fingers crossed I'm not disappointed.

COMODIDAD Y SIMPLEZA
