Excellent tool
If you are rewiring your connections and need to get it done professionally, then you definitely need this tool. I have bought tools from the hobby shop only to find that it can't crimp the ends correctly, but with this tool the crimps are nice and strong keeping the connection tight without soldering. I use it to shorten my servo leads for my high end RC cars.

A decent choice for small gauge terminals
If you're working with crimp terminals on small gauge wires, you simply need one of these tools. There's no real way around that. I've used this particular one on mini-Molex, DuPont and JST-XH connectors, and it works quite well, It can be a little fiddly to load some of the tinier connectors in without pinching your fingers, but that's typical of all crimpers of this pattern.If I were an electrician crimping terminals day in and day out, I would probably go with a higher dollar set, but this one works just fine for the electronics hobbyist.It would also be nice if it came with a couple sets of more common jaws; mine only came with the jaws for crimping Molex-style terminals. They are interchangeable, so I can probably by jaws later should I need them. I suspect they're all a standard size.

Seems ok. The jaws bind a little sometimes, like it's slightly out of align or just awkward to close.. But it worked.

great for crimping
as the title says, it is great for crimping, but it makes it difficult with smaller crimps, as it is fairly heavy, and makes it strange to try and put the crimp in there.

great tool for RC connectors
This was exactly what I needed, after shortening the wires on my esc, fan and servo's on my high end RC race buggies I used this tool to put new JST and JR connectors on 22 AWG wire. It was extremely simple and easy to use, I highly recommend.

Worse than useless
The jaws don’t align and jam up. They don’t fit small JST PH2 connectors. Not even close. . Fit and finish are terrible.

Contacts won't lock into plug housing
The crimping tool is excellent. However, though the plug housing is the correct size, the contacts do not seem to be the correct ones for the plug. There is no locking tang on the contact to hold it in the plug and they just fall out.
