I bought the cheese-making kit as a birthday gift for my vegan nephew . The contents looked amazing with multiple choices of cheeses to ..from Mozzarella to Parmesan but I don’t know if he’s made any yet !

Be wary of the recipes
I was bought this as a present and was so looking forward to trying the recipes. Made mozzarella and followed the instructions (thermometer does not work great) it ended up like putty and bland at that. Went on to do my own recipe and was great

Over priced and it tastes awful.
What a waste of money, over priced and rubbish cheese. I am a vegan who has tried many cheeses and this is just tastes like flavoured semolina. I tried the feta. Its not great and i am fairly certain some of the pictures in the book are made from dairy. You cannot pour the mushed up nuts from your blender even a nutribullet, it goes like a paste in your pan and try making the marinated stuff with it, it looks like yellow pate as it sets in the fridge, it was always going to be cloudy because of the nutritional yeast. Nothing like the picture. I'm a cook for the last 30+ years and followed the instructions to the letter. What you get in the kit you can buy for a fraction of the price, you are paying for a fancy packet. Better to buy stuff loose in supermarket put in a lovely basket and print out some recipes off the internet.

Great idea
The idea was good but one of the packets was all busted inside of the box. So far I like 1 of the cheeses but it is a fun experiment.
