Update 5/30/21: Immediately after I posted my 3/27/21 update Miheal contacted me and provided a coupon code for an entire new kit. Two days later I had my lights working again. Great customer service Miheal, thank you :) Update 3/27/21: A couple months ago the lights stopped working properly. When powered on, they would only strobe very rapidly from red to green to blue and I couldn't change anything with the remote. I bought a new Miheal controller and remote thinking that's where the problem would be, but sadly no, same result. So problem must be the power supply, the lights themselves, or a connector. Love these lights, just don't think $60 for 14 months of use is a good deal. Update 6/26/20: Just upgraded from 4 stars to 5. I am still very pleased with these lights despite the minor criticisms in my first posting. I have had no issues with the remote as others have reported, and the adhesive has held up (but only because I cleaned the surface before install). Miheal LED Strip, Wifi, 65.6 feet Overall, I am very pleased with these lights. As you can see in one of my pics, I have installed them on the picture moulding about 16 inches from the ceiling. The photos don't do them justice, so amazing to be in the room with those going all the way around. Things I like about them: 1. Works as advertised. 2. All lights are equally bright, no flickering etc. 3. 15 colors to choose from on the remote, many more using the app. Things I don't like: 1. I'm finding the phone app a bit clunky, maybe because you have to keep a wifi connection which I don't do. 2. Hard to find the buttons on the remote when lights are dim, a few raised bumps would help. 3. No timer countdown buttons for auto-off at 15 min, 30 min, 60 min. If you want some very cool lights to set a mood, or just don't always want the glare of an overhead light, you will be happy you got these.

I have no negative comments for these LED’s. They are very easy to install (just matchup arrows) , and they are quick to respond and very bright. Another feature I like is that it allows you to run a longer stretch of lights by being able to tie them back in at the starting point. This is because the remote connection has two outlets. Very useful for using the LEDS around a room. After about 33 feet or so you will notice the lights start to dim, but I have about 40 feet ran and once I connected the end of the strip into the remote everything brightened back up. It’s because it sends constant power all around the room. The colors are nice and I would recommend these LED Strips. Very good quality!

Product installed well, adheres well, to outside fence rails, feature set good. Unit failed within 2.5 months, however, making its feature set irrelevant. The photos shown above were taken this morning (2023-01-02) when I noticed the failures shown. Clearly, at least one of the color lines is damaged. In the blue photo, the break or fault is within 1 foot of the beginning of the string. In the green photo, the LEDs become very dim after a further point, so there are likely two faults. It rained heavily in the last few days, but these are nominally outdoor-rated, and the faults shown are in a sheltered but outdoor location. Now I will have to rip out the string and replace with (obviously!) another firm's brand. It took 1 - 2 hours to install.

I bought this to replace the rope lighting we had that had sections go out. This is a good product with some gripes. 1. You can really only use this by putting the power supply in the middle. If you are cool with this like I was this is a non issue. I surmise for a lot it will be an issue. 2. I had to use a lot of my own sticky tape to get this to stick. It just doesn't. If you can get some light strip kit it will probably be easier but so far so good with intermittent sticky tape every foot or so. 3. Some LEDs don't look like others. I think this is more a function of how I have this oriented (looking directly at the LEDs) and more than what this was made for as under or over mounted ambient light. Some of the colors from certain angles look different. Again this was more my use than anything else. 4. App works great, no problems with Android. The remote it comes with is pretty basic and has very limited range. Other than that it's one of the more affordable 64ft LED lights as it comes with a WiFi adapter.

I purchased multiple sets as a Christmas present for my daughter's bedroom. We installed them following the instructions and everything worked as they said, the room looked great and we were happy with the result. Due to the review on the stickiness of the lights, we placed a clear thumb tack every other feet or so (don't pierce the strip!! only as support right below it). You can not see them and now 6 months latter everything is still in place. Around may timeline, one of the strips died, I contacted Miheal customer service through email. They replied within 24 hours, honoring the warranty, no questions asked. They gave me a code to order a replacement strip from Amazon at no cost to me. Two days latter I had a brand new, working strip at home. I do not usually write reviews, but I have been very happy with the product and greatly impressed with their customer service...I do strongly recommend.

Works great for under cabinet lighting. Great for putting anywhere you want to add some lighting. Easy to work with.

the remote lasted 5 minutes. which didn’t bother me because i was going to use the app… or so i thought. the app is terrible! my lights disconnect and start flashing rainbow full brightness about every 15-30 minutes and i have to unplug and replug them multiple times. it’s a real pain. on top of that the color options in the app are really touch sensitive so it’s very difficult to get some colors such as pink. i enjoy the black background but i don’t think these are worth it… MAYBE if they fixed the app it’d be worth it. but i’m giving them a few more days before returning

Used less than 1 month and breakdown.

Love them have stood up for one year on every night for 5 hours through +40degree and -40 degrees still holding

Christmas present for my daughter . We are very disappointed!! And my daughter was very upset. There are three parts - one part works perfect another part turns on and off every few seconds, an the third part doesn't even have the red lights working!!! And when we turn the lights off by controller , turns on red light on two first parts instead turn off . Maybe something wrong with controller....? How we can fix thise problems? Or how to retern the product....

J ai hésité avant de commander avec les commentaires.... finalement je suis super contente.. je les ai installées sous les gouttières de la devanture de ma maison j ai BIEN PRÉPARÉ LA SURFACE AVEC DE L ALCOOL AVANT nous voici un mois plus tard et elles tiennent toujours...Si vous tentez de poser un produit adhésif sur une surface sale ou huileuse il est normal que ça ne tienne pas... pour ma part je suis super satisfaite tout fonctionne a1 même mes voisins vont en installer après avoir vu le résultat! Seul conseil après avoir brancher les connexions j ai acheté de l adhésif liquide électrique et mis sur les connexions dénudées pour éviter l oxidation- verre de gris... aussi éclairage groupées 4 fils et non 5 fils alors ne fait pas l arc en ciel... mais je savais avant de commander sinon 3x le prix...
