Hallmark Keepsake Christmas Ornament 2024, Star Trek: The Next Generation Dr. Beverly Crusher, Gifts for Trekkies

i bought this hallmark ornament off amazon and i must say i am very happy with it,it came quickly even though it came from the u s a, its a good likeness of dr crusher and is well modelled a good n.g. figure to go with my hallmark star trek collection. if you are a next generation fan i would recommend it.

Great product for any fan of Star Trek The Next Generation. Good quality paintwork, a good size for a small tree or a larger one. Just needs to have a piece of thread or ribbon attached to hang it as it doesn't come with anything.

Lots of tissue paper to keep it safe, even though it feels rubbery and unlikely to break in shipping. Perhaps I missed it, but I couldn't find anything in the box to hang it with, no hook or string.

Crusher ornament from TNG. What can I say but impressed. It actually looks like her for a change. Good paint quality. Value for money was what I expected. Good Christmas gift. My other complaint was no hook, but I always have extras around Christmas so doesn't take away from star rating. Beautiful, good size, functional enough for my tree

The last time I bought a Hallmark Keepsake ornament, I think DS9 was still on the air. Most of the ones I have are from TNG, so Dr. Crusher returning for 2024 will fit right in. I don't remember them being this astonishingly detailed. The medical tricorder is excellent, but I keep finding myself drawn back to the contrast in the gloss and satin finishes of her shoes and pantlegs. I love that they got the pips on her collar. It's nice that her hair is a separate piece so its edges are distinct from her coat. It feels more rubbery than the rest of the ornament and although it appears to have a bumpy texture in closeup photographs, it appears more smooth and well-sculpted to the naked eye. To nitpick just a little, I think the edge of the pockets' openings might have benefitted from better definition. As they are, I found myself searching old images trying to see if they had a flap or not - they didn't. This longer coat makes a nice shape for an ornament, although I think she probably wore a shorter one most often. It does, however, match the one from an episode I recently rewatched, "Remember Me." They really don't get any more Dr. Crusher centered than that episode, which has a spooky atmosphere which could also help this ornament look at home on a Spooky Season tree. Since it has been decades since I've gotten a new one, I don't remember if Hallmark ornaments used to come with a hanger or not. This one just has the eyelet for hanging, so you need to provide your own hanger. Also, it is not balanced in a way that would allow it to be freestanding without adding some adhesive putty under her feet. Overall, awesome ornament. Super cool.

This ornament arrived well packaged and appropriate for gifting. A great addition to the collection.
