I picked these up mainly to add some lighting around the yard and honestly they’ve been a lot more fun than I expected. Installation was pretty straightforward, and once everything was plugged in the Govee app made it easy to control the lights and experiment with different colors and scenes.The brightness is impressive too. Each light is powerful enough to highlight trees, landscaping, or the house itself without looking washed out. I like that you can switch between colorful lighting for holidays or parties and normal white lighting for everyday use. These types of lights can put out around 1000 lumens each and give you a wide range of color temperatures, so they work well for both decoration and practical lighting.The scene modes are where these really shine. There are a bunch of presets, and the ability to customize colors makes it easy to match whatever vibe you’re going for Halloween, Christmas, or just lighting up the yard at night.Overall they’ve been a great addition outside and definitely make the house look a little more “put together” at night.

I love these lights! They mount easily whether you want them on the ground or elsewhere. I didn’t want to move them every time I mowed the grass so I zip tied them to a metal pole on my house. They are bright, sync to the app with no issue, and have endless color choices! Govee has a great warranty as well and excellent customer support and service! These are great for daily lighting and even better for holidays!

Edit December 6, 2025: 1 week after the original review it has gone from 1 light out to 3 lights out. 3 out of 6. 50% of this has failed in 2 months. Absolute garbage that should get zero stars.I have multiple other Govee outdoor lighting products so I am quite familiar with them. I bought this to light up a new large Halloween display piece and like all the other products setting it up was pretty straight forward (adding it to each and every automation was a bit of a pain, but that is beside the point). Lighting was nice and bright if a little more "spread" than I expected. The reason for 2 stars though is that the lights ran nightly from October 7th until the day after Thanksgiving (the 28th) when one of them failed. Seriously, not even 2 full months and one of the lights dies. Unplugging and replugging did not reset it neither did "rebooting" the head unit. The light looks sealed with no moisture inside so this is not a water issue.

These are great when they work. Last set lasted one year. I hope this set is longer.

Picked these up for the Driveway and another set for the walkway in front of the house. After two snow storms there are currently mostly covered with ice, but still work perfectly. Excelent job light up the area and easily customizable for colors and patterns. Have some nice presets too, but not a ton of them. We used Red/Green/White repeated for Christmas and are using Light Blue + White for the winter (Glacier theme), but will be moving them to red them next week for Valentines! It's a fun accent to the house that we can use all year round. Family loves it and it makes it easier to see the long driveway. Highly recommend them as spot lights :)
