However, contrary to what some say on the internet, pure emu oil does not naturally contain a significant amount of vitamin k2 (or any other vitamins) unless it has been added to the oil after the refining process. If vitamins or any other ingredient is added after the refining process that would mean that the oil is no longer pure emu oil. Our company has been in the emu industry since 1993 and we are not aware of any actual studies or analytical testing that has been done to verify claims of significant vitamin content in pure emu oil. If you want to use Emu Oil for your fingernails, I think you would be better off looking for it in a liquid form. I like Leven Rose 100% Pure and Organic Emu Oil.
