Covers it all fairly comprehensively

I was disappointed that Amazon didn't advise in the advert that this books content is designed for the US and NOT the UK Market, making this books usefulness limited.

Very informative with essential information on designing and installing a system to suit your own requirements. Everything you need to know about this technology is covered. The only disadvantage is it is geared around North America but in saying that the technology works the same where ever you are in the world. I would have liked to have known where to purchase reasonably priced equipment in the UK instead of having to trawl the internet.I am now able to design and install my own system without wasting money, time and will be able to do it without killing myself as full safety aspects are covered. Anyone considering a solar system would be wise reading up on the basics of electricity theory first as this will help but it is not essential as this book explains everything in fairly simple terms so you don't have to be an electronics master to understand it.

An excellent book for anyone such as myself who is embarking on a career in Solar energy. Clear and simple, with built in excercises to ensure that you have grasped each subject.

This book is the best i have read so far, it is easy to understand, it has alot of planning exercises to do and it is easy to follow. i would recommend it to anyone.
