I’ve tried, and even had my adult son attempt to pair the unit to my phone and it does not recognize the WiFi and not sure this is part of the issue, but the app is not specific for the V-Evo. Now it’s past the return window and I cannot set this up. A lot of money wasted. Last ditch effort, I will reach out to the company.Edited: Reaching out to the company was the best thing I could have done. After just a few emails back and forth, in an attempt to rule out certain steps and confirming the unit is disabled, they have refunded me the entire cost. The drone did have an issue preventing to to pair to the WiFi thus I am bumping the rating up, solely on the great customer service satisfaction.

Used once then battery would hold a charge. Sent it in for repair

Worked great for one use. Second use got water in the camera and lost connection. Won't work after restart. Apparently this is a repeat problem if you look in their own forums.Support is having me ship it to get fixed which is aggravating as I get one vacation a year to use it and can't use it this year now. Save yourself the headache and skip this brand.

Probably a good drone for fresh water, wouldn’t recommend for saltwater
