Sega Saturn Video Game Console

The sega saturn is a great arcade type console. Okay so the selection of games for this console is quite poor compared to the ps1 and theres not a vast amount of games on the sega saturn and most of them are quite short to play but most of the games made are quite good to play including sega rally ,daytona usa ,sonic and resident evil 1. The 32 bit graphic power and sound is quite good but they're even better if you use the sega saturn RGB scart and the 6 button controllers are very easy to use and you can also play music cds on it. With this console you have a battery memory backup inside for saving the games ,but the downfall to this is if the battery runs out any save data you have will not work anymore and you will need to replace the battery with a CR 2032 3V circular battery (the battery is at the back left side of the console open the cover and remove the battery) ,but you can also purchase a memory backup cartridge that fits in the back of the console and lets you store game data on it so if the battery runs out all your data will be stored on the cartridge. The only accessories i like for this console is the virtua gun (make sure you have an older tv for this) and the action replay 4m auto plus which can play usa/jap imported games on the uk sega saturn.This isn't the best console from sega but it's worth 5 stars anyday for the enjoyment of the classic games on it ,if you like classic arcade type games then this console is a must buy.

Be mindful who you are ordering one of these consoles from as mine arrived with no controller or leads and I paid £41 for it absolute joke

Sincerely impressed. Arrived a day earlier than expected which was a great surprise.The SEGA Saturn is in excellent condition and so carefully and well packaged. Far greater condition than I had imagined. Practically looks like new.The original ad had said that it would come with a Model 1 controller (the console is Model 2). I was a little disappointed as the Model 2 controller is far superior, but was happy to order anyway. As it turned out I got neither a Model 1 nor Model 2 controller. Instead it came with the Saturn 3D controller! So delighted and cannot thank the seller enough. Fantastic surprise and bonus.Can't recommend enough. Delighted with this purchase. Reliving a 1996 Christmas.Many thanks!

When buying a retro console, ask the sellers for more picture if you want - both sellers came back to me with them in no time which was really helpful. The Saturn is a great console if you want to start your retro game collection.

Item as expected from description and working, so, after a good clean (inside and out), very happy for it to be sitting on my gaming shelf
