The quality of this camera is great. It was easy to set up and i ended up buying another set for my brother in law and his gf to use at their apartment. You don't have to buy the subscription but it won't record without the subscription. It does not take an SD card. But subscription isn't too much.

Love these cameras. I had had blink inside wired cams for a few years now, 1st you have to arm the like every 10 hrs for them to record,2nd they only record in like 10secs to 60sec intervals and misses a lot of stuff, and now you gotta pay $20 a month to record instead of the $10 it used to be. Not to mention the Roku cams are cheaper, they record second by second, was very easy to set up and install, great picture quality. The only thing is idk how long they will last or how durable they are because I’ve only had them for a couple of days but so far so good. Night vision is also good, talking through them works well. Bottom line is unless they break or don’t last long u will eventually replace all my blink cams with these cams in the future. And as far as I know you do not have to pay to record.

Clear footage around 10ft the further the less clear (Night and day). Has siren you can press. Easy to install. Can view footage on phone, ipad, roku tv. Sound is clear both when ypu listen and speak. I think it has about 4 second lag time. Not bad for price and no subscription. Note: you can also opt to pay for subscription for more features.

I have purchased numerous cameras for myself and others, and they work exceptionally well, capturing every movement with precision. I had my vehicle stolen and wish I'd had something set up then to capture who did it. In my experience, they perform better than Ring cameras. You receive alerts for all activity, even small movements, and the video quality is crystal clear. It can even capture rain on a window. One thing to note is that the motion detection can be overly sensitive at times, occasionally mistaking inanimate objects, like bags, for people. So if you get an alert at night that there's a person in your backyard more than likely it's not. But do your due diligence and check anyway. However, it reliably detects pets and other movement, which is very helpful. I have multiple cameras set up, which gives me peace of mind and allows me to monitor my parents without needing to call them constantly. Overall, these cameras are highly effective and reliable.

Love this camera, I use mine to watch my dog while I’m not home cuz she’s new to training and I like to know what she’s up to when I can’t get to her. I can also speak through the camera to her which she loves. Easy to use on the app I already had because of my light. The sound picks up every single sound and the main sound will be loud. It detects all motion like even my candle flames. Night vision is really good too. It gets blurry sometimes but not a lot.

Bought this camera to monitor my three d printer. The picture quality is incredible. This also, it's very nice because it's portable. It has really good night vision and picture quality. Both at night and during the day.It works just fine with roku home.Which is free. I plan on buying more of these for my home.And property.

Most of the reviews are correct as far as picture quality. Very clear and night vision is excellent. Easy to set up. Good for the price. Love that I can view them on my Roku tvs. HOWEVER, there are some big flaws with these. We've had to unplug/ replug many times to reset cameras. Also the "channel" on the roku TV cuts out constantly. It will say camera is not available and I have to keep clicking on it or leave the channel to get it to come back up. The carousel is a great idea but never works correctly. I am constantly rebooting cameras. Also having trouble recently with the video not running smoothly. I get bits and pieces and can hardly tell what is going on. **Some of my issues may be due to the fact that my internet for my cameras is different than that for my tvs (as I use a bridge and separate router in the building where my cameras are). I would gladly pay double for a camera/app that is more reliable. I also have Google nest 1st generation that are far superior as far as reliability. ALWAYS have a live video when I pull up the app. No trouble with the cameras being connected to a different router, like my Roku cams. I am using the Roku cameras in Mare & Foal barn and I HAVE to have reliability to know when a mare is about to foal. Would love to continue with Roku cams but these issues HAVE to be fixed or I can't.
