It's awesome . Obviously there's going to be some work arounds . Overall this is great it's going to save me so much money. Unfortunately it doesn't actually dry the clothes it just spins dry them but for the most part you can just air dry them and they'll dry within like an hour or so. The one thing I will say is the intake hose is made of some very cheap plastic And I don't know I just find the intake thing a little bit confusing in general but other than that I love it I basically just feel it through the top and don't use the hose anyways . Had to find beyond there's a couple things that you'll learn as you use it more . I would definitely suggest that in the warranty I got a warranty for 2 years so we'll see. If you do the math it's definitely worth it . Personally I don't use the intake for the spin cycle I just do two wash cycles . One with soap , one without , drain , Then spin then dry by air or heated dryer . Holds alot . It is a tiny bit but honestly I kind of like the noise. Never spin and drain same time . Love it

This little washer is excellent! We carry it with us in our motorhome. It’s lightweight and compact, but it cleans so well. I was actually using this washer when I realized that our clothes were full of soap from our washer at home. This is our second year using the washer and it still works like new. It does a great job cleaning our clothes, the spin cycle gets the clothes pretty dry, and it’s easy to travel with. If I lived in an apartment or somewhere without a washer, I wouldn’t hesitate to use this on a regular basis. I’ve been nothing but impressed.

I was so excited about having this to wash cloth diapers in our old apartment. We only washed a couple at a time, and I even looked up advice and warnings on how to use/not use the washer and dryer and everything, too (since the instructions were super difficult to interpret). But the motor stopped working altogether after about 8 uses, or at least that's what seemed to be the issue. What's worse is that the return policy would have required us to send it back, and we had no way of doing so before moving across the country a few days after we bought it. So this was literally just $100+ completely wasted, unfortunately... Maybe we got a dud, and I want to give it the benefit of the doubt and possibly try it again at some point. But... I was really upset that it didn't work for us through this brand/seller. The day we moved, we ended up tossin' it in the dumpster, and I hate that we had to do that with something that could have really been extremely useful for us to have... Also, even when it did work, it still had a few major design flaws, I hate to say... The tube that empties the water has to be level or lower than the washer, and it has to be someplace where water can be drained - but also has to be plugged in, so it has to be near an outlet with water. But the tube is so short without getting an extension (not even sure what size would be needed or what would be compatible tube-wise) that this means you probably have to drag the washer back and forth between where you need it plugged in and where you need to dump the water out. Because, you know, water + electricity = a bad time (imho). And when it's full of water, pushing and dragging on it sucks (especially after you've just given birth). And then when you do get it dumped out, there's always still a little bit more water left in the bottom of the washer side. I would also have to bend down with a bucket and literally drain from the hose, fill the bucket, dump it in the sink, accidentally drip water all over the place that my postpartum self would have to clean up, and then repeat until all of it was out. This honestly sucked. I don't usually like being so negative, but... Yeah, I have to give this one star... I love the concept, but dang...

Due to a situation where my standard washer is hooked up, I needed a portable washer until my standard washer can be used again. I have never owned or used a dual drum type of portable washer before. After watching several videos, I decided I would get one that could be placed in the bathtub. It has been just over a week since I received my Giantex. Sadly, the inlet hose to fill the machine with water is extremely thin and flimsy. However, the electric cord and the machine itself seem nice quality. I am confused that the lint catcher inside the machine does not look like any that I saw on the videos I watched. I use a simple stocking cap on the exterior drain hose to keep lint out of my drain. The agitation in the washer seems powerful and impressive. The spin drum is about half the size as the washer. The spinner is very effective. My waffle weave bathrobe went from heavy and soaking wet to about 80% dry after spinning for 4 minutes. Advice on filling the washer: Using a shower sprayer directly into the machine is a good option. With good water pressure, it should take about 2 minutes to fill the machine. Also, using a sink faucet is a nice option. I bought 2 items on Amazon to do that. Danco Quick Connect Adapter and Fevone 6 foot hose. I am leaving the Danco Adapter on my faucet. When I use the washer, I connect hose to adapter and use other end of the hose directly into the washer. Fill time is about 2 minutes Tips: Use a TINY amount of laundry detergent or the suds will be overwhelming...Wash. Turn machine knob to Drain....Fill again without any detergent to Rinse. BE SURE KNOB IS NOT ON DRAIN.SETTING WHEN FILLING MACHINE TO WASH YOUR LAUNDRY.... Put items in the Spinner. This process has taken about 30-40 minutes per load. I have a second shower rod, about 6 feet long in my shower. It is a simple tension shower rod but I have stainless steel supports holding the rod, much like how a closet rod is held up. This keeps rod from sliding down. I hang laundry, including towels on plastic hangers on this second rod. That way, no water gets on my floor, only in the tub/shower. When my shower curtain is closed, you cannot see the laundry hanging up nor is the second rod visible. Using the Giantex, after washing, rinsing and spinning...even my robe and towels were completely dry within 3 hours.

I can’t get over this little washer it’s so compact yet washes all my clothes amazingly. I’m able to get a lot of my laundry done and save tons of $ throughout the year by skipping trips to the laundromat. Obviously I can’t wash a comforter but regular sized blankets I can. The spinner isn’t going to dry your clothes 100% but does it at least 80% but I also have a portable dryer I use and it works amazing

The hose attachment wasn't big enough to hook up to either sinks of mine and appeared to have been used at some point as there was some staining and residue left behind in the washer itself. Nothing a little vinegar couldn't clean, but has me wondering if I unknowingly bought a used one for the brand new price🤔 It's also kind of noisy for such a small appliance and the spinner/dryer will shake, rattle, and role until it gets going for a minute or so. If you've got nosey neighbors and arent allowed one of these i suggest getting a different brand. Oh and the drain hose😡......be prepared to make a mess! I eventually gave up using a bucket and put the machine inside my tub to do the laundry so I don't flood my bathroom again and again and again. The drain hose is definitely not long enough to put it up and over my tub or toilet. Best advice to give is a little goes a long long way with the amount of detergent or bleach you use. You'll be stuck rinsing them over and over and over until you got all the soap out. It does do a good job in cleaning them thoroughly and tou have the ability to time it as long as 15 minutes,however it seems a bit rough even while on the gentle cycle. I feel it spins to fast and too much. Oh well, I invested in one. Used it a few times and decided to keep it to save money on going to the laundry mat.

I am very pleased with this product for the price that I paid. It is definitely good value and is exactly what it is advertised as. I have had it for some time now and it has worked beyond initial expectations. I have read a number of negative reviews and it seems to be the same couple of issues. First is the draining issue. It is a gravity drain, there is no pump and it will not drain the water if the pipe is raised. It needs to be flat on the ground our in the drain. Also complaints of using hot water causing condensation on the lid and dripping into the floor and causing damage. It doesn't matter what temp the water is because it splashes up onto the lid anyway. It's not a big deal but something to be aware of when placing the unit. And the third problem was it making a mess on the floor for numerous reasons. This is a basic plastic tub that agitates clothing and provides a spin dryer to remove the largest bulk of residual water. Nothing more. I have mine in my bathtub. I find it the best place to use it and store it behind the curtain so it's also out of view. When it's empty it's not very heavy and can be easily moved around. I can drain it directly into tub and I bought a child's bathing hose to attach to a sink. I connected ot to the water hose that came with machine and the tap end fits perfectly onto my hand held shower head pipe connector when I remove the head.

I used to have a fully manual one with a hand crank but I wanted something I didn't have to stand over all the time and closer to a fully washing machine and this tub is perfect!! Yes it has some of the problems people list. I put mine in the bathtub on furniture risers to give greater height to the drop down drain system. Definitely put some kind of nylon on the end of the drain hose so you can collect lint, the interior lint collector is good but not great and it will save your drains from getting clogged with crap. Also definitely use a lot less soap then you are used to, this machine is all about efficiency, so its more powerful then you think, the video is my first load since then I have gone to a 1/3 of a half a cap if that makes sense. Also it holds a little more then you think but don't fill water past the second square on the lint trap the splash can send the water and soap out of the machine. There are many videos on youtube that can show you how to do laundry the instructions are difficult to figure out in some places . Also I really would give this a 4.5 star rating only cause I have to contact the company about the spinner area top the hinge is broken on one side but I will contact costumer service and see if they will replace it .. but so far does my sheets and pillowcases and a few towels, whites are beyond white in this machine . they never come this clean in a full sized machine so really beyond happy :D

I have a very small apartment, and wanted something that I could use, that would save me having to put my laundry in a bag.....putting it in my e-trike, and carting it down to the laundramat where it would cost me anywhere from $15-$20 dollars to do my laundry. I saw this on Amazon.....read the reviews, and decided to give it a go. It's well worth the price, I paid, and it would pay for itself in 10, or so uses. There are a few drawbacks, that were unexpected, but easily oversome. They are:- 1. The spin dryer is not heated. It dries by squeezing water out of the clothes by by pressure of the spinning, so the clothes come out still very damp. 2. It uses gravity to drain the tub, so if you don't have a drain on your floor, you'll need to elevate the washer, and put the hose in a bucket, and make sure that it doesn't overflow. You can stop the washer from draining, so that you can empty the bucket, then continue on. 3. The lint filter is pretty useless. Instead of being on the dryer side, it's in the washing tub, and is very difficult to remove, until you ket the knack of it. I watched a user video on YouTube, and that's where I learned how to remove, and reattach it. 4. The instruction booklet is written in pigeon English, so good luck with that. There are some drawings in it, that help. After reading this review, you would wonder how I could give it such a good rating? In spite of the shortcomings, (which are all minor, and easily overcomable), it is well worth the price. The clothes come out clean, and once you get the hang of it, the washer is very easy to use. I'm got I got this thing.

This is seriously life changing ! Washes great, better than expected and quite a good amount of clothes. Very strong and does not take long for a full cycle at all. The inlet cord is very small but we made it hook up to the shower(just reached) I would recommend buying a longer tube to attach to the machine for easy washing and rinsing. We also just put the removable shower head in the tub and that also worked. The “dryer” also works wonderfully. It dries clothes to about 97% dry then you hang to let dry. The dryer part is very small so the whole load of washes clothes will need to be split into 2-3 drying loads(wish it was the same size as the washing drum) spins well and the machine as a hole is very mighty and relatively quiet ( we love 3rd floor apartment ) I also recommend an extension cord as the power cord is short. An entire load takes under 20 mins to complete which is so doable and convenient. This is the process that works well. 1.Fill washing tub to desired amount, while filling add detergent( can add fabric softener and scent beads if desired ) 2.Add in clothes 3.Turn the knob to either normal or gentle and set the washer timer to desired time ( I use 9 mins for regular loads and 15 for heavy stuff ) the wash will immediately begin. Close the lid and let it do it’s thing 4. Once washed turn the dial to drain and allow all the dirty soapy water to drain out ( make sure the drain is somewhere appropriate ( we put the whole machine in the tub when doing laundry ) once drained from the washing tub I spray some more water in the wash tub and rinse the soap off ( some people run another cycle with clean water- both ways are fine ) drain again. 5. Move the wet clothes to the dryer portion ( don’t fill too much, will have to split up the washes load into a couple dry loads) out the plastic cap on top and close the lid, set timer I use 5 mins or until no more water is draining out the tube. Allow the dryer to come to a stop before opening the lid. Remover clothes and hang to dry the rest. Repeat. Honestly the way the washer works to wash the clothes is amazing cleaner than a normal machine especially the shared ones at an apartment building or laundromat! Highly recommend. Only down side is the price it is very expensive and a big investment for sure but you won’t be disappointed!

Zero stars. Sending this useless hunk of plastic back for refund. Cant put into the bath to drain and fill due to product warning. It won't drain unless the hose is completely laid flat making it impossible to drain into a bucket or garbage can. There is no operable drain pump, only drains by gravity. Bought a universal extension hose which won't fit correctly on the Giantex's short, extra cheap and sorry excuse for plastic hose. I bought a stand to raise the unit up off the bottom of the tub but I can't level it. I've been to forums, Giantex and Costway support and I am tired of lugging this bad excuse for convenience in my 71 yrs.
