Fantastic product!! I originally bought a 3rd party dock. That one didn't work out very well and ended up being returned. This one, however, is a real keeper!! Great design, awesome lighting and it's a little heavy to keep it stable. You CAN turn the lights off completely if you choose to, which I did but I may turn them back on occasionally because they look great. Charges really fast at about 1% per minute by my estimate. Plus, it's officially licensed by Sony, which means it must be good if it gets their stamp of approval. Don't waste your time or money on ANY other PS Portal charging dock. THIS IS THE ONE TO GET!!!

Just got a PS Portal and needed a way to charge it. This official docking station is perfect and the Portal sits docked and ready, and charges fast. Saves space and sits right below my gaming monitor. It was also a great price and good quality built.

This thing is awesome. It was kind of a pain charging the portal before I got this because the USB C was deep in the back and hard to get to. This comes with a little dongle you only have to put on once and it will connect to the charging base super easily. You can also touch the back of this and go through a selection of colors with each touch or if you want to go stealth mode there’s a non light up mode. Awesome product!

Good product. Durable, stable, easy to Use (except if you want to get the magnetic connector back out of the usb slot , lol). Charges fast and to me is a good value for the price. Had done well and have been using it now for over 8 months

I have tried a couple & this is the perfect PS Portal charging docks. The fact that it’s not a consensus 5.0 means nothing is meant to be. Dongle fits nice and secure & serves as an easy guide to dock. Most importantly, charges at the fastest rate possible (14% to 83%) in one hour. 2 hours total from empty to full. Others I’ve tried do not charge as fast in comparison to a USB C cable connected directly to a 20-30w power brick. The lights are a nice touch & can be turned off. Others have mentioned that the dongle is hard to remove. You’ll need to turn the Portal upside down & remove by putting fingers on both sides & pulling away, since it’s a secure fit. The removal on other, similarly designed docks is more difficult (due to the smaller dongle(s), where you actually need pliers). The base of the dock has nice weight to it, too. This is the only first party charging dock & best overall IMO. It’s also the most expensive.

I really like the clean and attractive design of this charging station. It charges the PlayStation Portal quickly, and the magnetic connection is very secure. The Portal stays firmly in place while charging. My only complaint is that the magnetic adapter is too short. If I want to use this charging station, I have to remove the protective case from my Portal, which is a bit inconvenient. Overall, it’s a great charging station, but a slightly longer adapter would make it much better.

This is a definite must if you on a PS Portal

The charging station feels well built and of high quality. I also like that it comes with a USB-C adapter that allows you to pick up your Portal without needing to unplug the USB-C cable.

Die Portal paßt wunderbar rein, das Licht ist auch ganz nett anzusehen und tut was es soll. Standfuß steht stabil und hält die PS Portal ordentlich, gibt kein rumgefummel beim rein stellen, flutscht quasi direkt in Position.

The device is so beautiful and functional! I saw some reviews before buying that people were saying it doesn’t charge to 100%, I’m using it for more than 2weeks now and every time it charged the device completely! So no worries on that if you plan to buy. The color is the exact same color as ps5 and controller so you can’t tell that it’s from another brand, same goes for the material and feeling. The RGB light is so cool and can be changed or turned off and the blue tone is the exact blue tone of the brand😅 All in all everything works perfectly and I recommend it for sure! From a tech person who cares so much about detail and aesthetic 😃

It looks great, works well and I love the ambient lighting.

Carga rápida, fiable ya que al llegar al 100% la base evita que se siga cargando el dispositivo, me encanta que el conector tipo C que se conecta a la portal sea magnético y de buen agarre, no es un imán de baja calidad, la estructura de la base de carga se ve de buenos materiales prácticamente el plástico es igual de resistente que el de la propia portal y con la misma textura rugosa que tiene por delante el mando, habria sido mucho pedir que tubieran el estampado que tienen por detras los mandos oficiales de ps5, pero mas no se le puede pedir, la luz es muy agradable y de fácil manejo y regulacion, en conclusion buen producto a buen precio dado que es un producto verificado por sony, ademas con lucecitas gamer que ya por tener luces rgb te suben el precio por las nubes
