Lovely stuff.
Yummy. But it evaporates really quickly. For some reason it evaporates a lot quicker when two people are in the house together. 🤷 especially when there is a film on netflix and the bottle is on the table in the lounge. I might have to write a sternly worded email to them!

Quite nice but not as nice to me as Sambuca.
Quite nice aniseed flavour but I much prefer Sambuca. Ouzo has a slight tangy aftertaste which I'm not that fond of. If all you really want is a lovely liqueur that's aniseed flavoured, I definitely recommend Sambuca over this.

Strong but exceptionally smooth Greek aniseed liqueur
I have drunk this brand of Ouzo since the mid 1970's when I visited Corfu (several times) and Crete. It's flavour is great, exceptionally smooth, it only needs 2-3 lumps of ice (preferably made from filtered waster). Its taste is consistent offering great value for money. It is well presented and makes for a great gift.

Buono come essere in Grecia
Chi è stato in Grecia conoscerà l’Ouzo e saprà che li si beve liscio oppure allungato con acqua e ghiaccio come ottimo aperitivo. Questo è uno dei più diffusi anche per il buon rapporto qualità prezzo. Per chi non lo conoscesse, si tratta di un liquore abbastanza forte con aroma di anice ma NON confondiamolo con la Sambuca che ha sapore diverso ed è dolce.Io lo bevo sempre allungato con acqua e ghiaccio come aperitivo accompagnato da qualcosa da mangiare tipo pistacchi, noccioline, olive, pezzetti di formaggio e di finocchi o cetrioli. Per un momento torno in Grecia
