Exactly what I needed for a digital detox. This phone already comes with a SIM card and I used Tracfone to activate the phone, since it's locked to them. Costs about $20 a month, not bad. Works great with internet and data connectivity. Texts and calls are great, you get unlimited from Tracfone. Very easy to operate. Battery lasts me about three days. I honestly thought it was going to be a lot clunkier to carry around, and it doesn't quite fit in a pocket but it is still pretty small appearance wise. Still very durable. Screen is great, I got some protectors just in case but I don't think I'll need it. Sound quality on my end listening to calls is great but people do say that it's a little scratchy on their end (as I expect from a flip phone).

I purchased this phone because it was good value , easy to use and good low cost autto pay plans. As second phone its small easy to carry and I use it for my safety while riding my horse or walking with my pack animals. Great small phone tto have on u for any emergency instead of a big heavier phone

Worked great for exactly 3 months then it died and will not recharge or turn on. Tracfone is sending me a new one because it has a one year warranty. I didn't know this and had already gone through 2 of this exact phone not knowing it had a warranty, only thinking about Amazon 30 day returns. Based on the fact that they last about 3 months I would not buy again. It is only used by mother who is in a nursing phone, it just literally sits on her dresser plugged in, she makes a few phone calls a week. Junky.

Adequate for calling and receiving texts - numeric keyboard makes entering text awkward. Email app does not work with gmail. Browser is not compatible with gmail. Setting up wi-fi calling is a bit deceptive - first prompt is for Address Number - Tracfone support couldn't understand what I was asking about. Turns out you can skip that, scroll down and enter your actual physical address which may not be recognized as "valid" (not in the E911 system?) but you can "use it anyway" by selecting that option. You will need to create a KaiOS account using as your ID your email address. If you also log into Google, you can then import your gmail contacts (though it is understood that google has disallowed this). I did have a period when I was told the account was locked. Not sure what I did to fix it, other than leave it for an hour or so and trying again. A more sure way to transfer contact information is by exporting your contacts on your original phone, then by transfering the file to the TCL phone (by USB or bluetooth) then importing that file into your contacts.

I love this telephone! I had a problem at first trying to get it activated. When I finally called the right number I got someone that helped me, wasn't in a hurry, was very, very nice, and wanted to make sure that I was happy and satisfied with their service. The phone is easy to use, the camera works fine and I get to play games on it also. I have not had anymore problems with the connectivity, the battery last a long time and I like it better than all the other expensive phones I have used in the past. I highly recommend this phone.

I bought this for my wife to carry, just incase of a emergency and I'm sure in emergencies we are concerned about where out cell phone is. This phone, and others all have to be able to call 911 even if you don't have any phone plan with them. And this is exactly what I was looking for, but so far I. Questioning the stand by battery charge. I was hoping for the battery life of a old school Nokia phone, so far this one doesn't have it. Even with wifi turned off, and no apps installed. It lasts about 1 week in-between charges.

.. The battery lasts less than 8 hours (Even if the phone sits untouched). Making the phone near useless unless it's plugged in constantly... So you can't rely on this phone. I'm not returning it: It was the cheapest phone I could find. I bought it so I'd have an extra phone to surrender if I ever went somewhere requiring me to turn in my phone. I can give them this one; while keeping my working phone for an emergency. ....
