WILLBOND 5 Rolls Glow in The Dark Yarn for Crocheting, Multiple

I bought this for DIY decorations, and it glows surprisingly well after charging under light. The yarn is soft enough to work with while still holding its shape. Perfect for creative projects.

This is the coolest yarn I’ve ever crocheted with! Great quality, reasonably priced, vibrant colors! Very pleased and excited to see the finished project! I started immediately after receiving in the mail! Great for amigurumi! Create a sturdy finish! Will definitely be ordering again and will be a one of my go-to’s for further projects! The video I posted was of the yarn being exposed to light for only a few seconds! It actually gets a lot brighter than this! Extremely satisfied! 👏

This review is for the significant others who don’t know much about yarn. I bought this as a Christmas gift for my wife not knowing anything about it, thinking that 54 yards per roll would be a decent amount, but ended up laughing pretty hard when I realized how small these bundles are. They don’t glow entirely through the yarn either, certain fibers do. They glow very bright (at least mine do) but only certain strands woven in glow.

I used this yarn to make little Halloween “monsters’ for a little neighborhood kid. I’m very happy with the end result. The yarn has a rough cotton feel so I wouldn’t want to knit a sweater or blanket out of it but for a small project like this, it was perfect. I was happy with the glow-iness too.

My brother in law ordered this yarn for me as a Christmas gift. I finally decided to make a small teddy bear with it, but ended up not having enough to complete the bear. I had my brother in law send me the link from his previous order so I would get the same yarn. I knew it was possible that the dye lot could differ, but wanted to get it as close as possible. Not only is the color off (which I could have lived with) but the material is completely different it seems to have glowing plastic threads instead of the yarn itself glowing like the original. The plastic takes away from the softness of the yarn as well

It wasn't quite what I had expected but I am satisfied with the end order. As you can see each of the 5 skeins are no biger than my hand. The yarn seems to be soft yet sturdy. It does seem to unwind easily while I'm crocheting though. Overall I would recommend it though.

Though the material is sturdy, the glow is a couple of threads of added thin plastic that doesn't hold glow for more than a few seconds. The colors are lovely, but they ALL glow the same boring green tone. Overall, not at all worth the money. The yarn is 3 or 4 very loosely spun color strands and the glow. Very thin yarn and small skein. Photos and description are misleading to say the least.

Some of these don't seem to glow at all (I'm making a handbag so the colours are in rows) but only 3/4 of these seem to stand out when I switch my light out... They're very pretty colours, not bad to work with (crochet) and if I use it in the evening and looking for it in a dark room... at least some of them will proudly announce its location! (Particularly in a family box at the panto at Christmas... if I need something during the performance it should be easy to spot, and help make sure I don't forget to take it home after, too!)

Die Wolle leuchtet ohne Schwarzlicht. Allerdings braucht es viel Licht und viel Zeit bis die Wolle "aufgeladen" ist.

Haven't used for a project yet but charged the wool as soon as it arrived. There is a glow but nothing like the picture. It's a bit of a novelty but would maybe work better under UV?

Sehr schlechte Qualität nur lauter dünne Bänder zum dickeren Garn gemacht, das nicht mal gut zusammen hält, so dass man schon besser aufpassen muss . Habe vonn wen anderes auch leuchtwolle bestellt, die ist wesentlich besser, dann kommt noch dazu, das diese wolle nicht wirklich leuchtet wie abgebildet, sondern alles gleiche farbe und dann nicht komplett, sondern gepunktet. Bin sehr enttäuscht. Kauft die Wolle nicht, kann ich nur sagen 😢.
