I'm so glad I got this thing. I was a bit suspicious of how low the price was on this, but I went ahead and this has been great to have. I've been dealing with dirty diapers for 3 years. I've burned through 3 official "diaper genie" brand diaper genies in that time. The regular diaper genie is great for keeping the smell out when throwing away another diaper, but they've got too many moving parts that depend on small plastic pegs and posts, and eventually they jam too hard, wear out, get loose, and break. They're awkward to empty, change, and refill, and again, they jam CONSTANTLY. This thing is a little smaller, sure, but it is so much SIMPLER. It's just an outer lid with a trapdoor beneath, and a simple little cabinet door for emptying the bag. It has huge advantages over regular diaper genie models. -simpler design w less moving parts -more reliable operation -easier to empty -doesn't jam (meaning less need to shove your hand in to clear it) -wider bag gives more storage than you'd expect The only disadvantage this has is that, when sticking in a new diaper, you will have the container open for a split second and may catch a tiny whiff of the bag. That's gone in a second, and when it's closed it doesn't let any smells out. This thing has really simplified my life and I wish I'd gotten one of these first.

Only complaint is the size as it needs to be changed frequently but the scent is nonexistent until you open it! Liquids and smell somewhat seep through the bags as they sometimes have small holes ans they are pretty thin but the bag length is great and lasts a long time!

This diaper pail is easy to use with a simple foot lever to open/ close the lid. The pail does a good job of keeping the smell at bay. The pail is an effective size & looks as pictured.

I bought this diaper pail after a friend recommended it. I have no complaints! I was going to order the XL, but it was out of stock at the time and baby was coming soon, so out of fear of not having the nursery ready in time, I ordered this one. I am actually glad I did, because the small size is convenient and it can fit anywhere! I appreciated that this came with several bag refills, and they last a long time! It's very easy to cut the bag when it's full and then just retie the end of the bag and pull more out so it's ready to fill again. I have been using this for several months now and have had no issues with smell! Very very happy with this purchase!

Bigger than I was expecting and I like the design. I didn't know the liner was scented so I have to find some that aren't because I hate fake smells. I thought maybe the whole thing had been sprayed so I washed the outside and wiped it down with a lavender essential oil but I could still smell that gross powder smell. So if I can smell that inside the trash I am sure I will smell the diapers. The design is nice, when it's full you pull the bag out and it has a cutter on the door and then you tie off the end of the bag instead of changing it like a regular trash. I looked into a lot of diaper pails from 30-80 dollar range and they all have pretty much the same pros and cons so I figured I'd go with the cheaper option that is still a good design. What is even the point of scented bags? Nothing will make the odor of a diaper smell better and when you put fake smells in the mix it's usually much worse. That's my fault because I didn't read the part where it stated they were scented. It's not totally hands free because while it has a foot pedal to open the lid, there is a little knob that you turn to unlock the hatch and then you shove the diaper in that way. You can leave the knob in unlock position, but I think it may be a bit more air tight if you leave it locked between uses. It's not a big deal though. Overall I like it. Edit: Still want unscented bags but this definitely keeps the smells in. When you live in a small apartment and you can leave for the day and come back and not smell poop then it's working. Holds A LOT

A great diaper pail - we use for our cloth diapers. Fits the brand Esembly diaper bag in the pail. Traps scent and easy to open and close. Sleek looking and durable!

I waste of 50 dollars it's not odor resistance at all it and is the worst diaper pail I've ever purchased.

It doesn’t capture odor as they claim and I was fooled by other reviews so I had to speak , bottom line it arrived with broken hinge and it makes diapers smells even worse , I use it now for used coffee ground only.

Works perfectly, does everything it needs to do. Quick and easy to dispose of nappies, does a great job of trapping in the odour. A very clever design.
