I haven't 8 your old and a 10 year old son that both got these for Christmas. They are great little drones and fly a lot like the higher dollar drones that I have. They don't claim to be waterproof but my son flew it into a garbage can halfway full of water and the Drone was powered on for over 7 Minutes submerged under two feet of water. Once we recover the drone it was rinsed off shooken out and dried off with a towel really well then we turned it back on and continue to fly. Still no issues with it and this thing has taken a beating. Would highly recommend just make sure you put the blade protectors on they definitely help because I so far have not had any broken blades or any parts. Definitely impressed for the price and if you're considering it definitely by this one.

The media could not be loaded. Great drone for older kids! My son got it for his 13th birthday and has used it many times already. Easy to operate and has lots of fun tricks it can do. Great product for the money.

Smaller than what i thought was represented by photo, but functionable and easy for kids to figure out.

This is a great little drone to start out. I bought it for our 7-year-old grandson for Christmas. We were afraid he was too young that he caught on to how to operate it very quickly it's very easy to use he has so much fun with it. The functionality with it is very easy for a 7-year-old.

Looks good works ok. It is very hard to operate, not user friendly. Pay the few bucks more and get the easier one to use. The camera is not that great, pick good open ground to practice on. Do your research.Small, good flight time, and fast speed.

Upon powering up and hitting the launch button, the drone immediately, and quickly, flies away while no buttons are being pressed on the controller. We’ve followed all configuration guidance in the manual and this continues to happen each time.The instructions indicate that it is possible to compensate for this drift, but because it is so bad and flies away so quickly, it is nearly impossible to determine which direction is the actual issue.Additionally, it seems to lose memory of this compensation each and every restart of the device. This is rendering it completely unusable and pretty darn unpleasant to even attempt to use.
