Is there an inner bag inside the Cream of Wheat box, or is the wheat powder simply loose inside the box (so you need take care when sealing the box)?

It is loose in the box, so take care when and after opening. I put mine in a storage bag after the initial opening. Then I just pull it out of the baggie and put it back after taking what I need. I also use those air-tight cannisters.

Is it vegan friendly?

I've been a vegan for a year now, and I get this cereal all the time, it has no animal products
