I don't think it would fit well in a tub / shower combo due to size, it's clearly made for a walk in shower. Not overly heavy. Easy to move. It's made well of heavy duty metal material. Sturdy. Took less than 15 mins to put together. I love it. I feel safe using it after major spine surgery. I recommend it 100%

This shower chair is very sturdy, easy to assemble, and user friendly. Use of the extra padding to the chair, does aid in comfort, as well as appearance. The chair is light weight, which is important if you need to remove it for others to use the shower. It remains stable when going from sitting to standing, with no noticeable movement of the chair. Important to note that there is not an opening under the seat of the chair, so user must stand to wash private areas.

Lots of parts but assembly easy. Very sturdy. Fits my big butt.

Too many pieces to assemble someone living a lone with no help & mobility issues would have a hard time putting it together. Also, it give the stains and mold somewhere to hide & make it hard to clean. I wish the rubber foot covers were white or clear because they stained the shower base. The chair looks nice and has good stability & the handle make it easy to get in and out of the chair. The design could be improved.

My husband assembled it. It took about 20 minutes to assemble and he has good mechanic skills. My brother is using the chair and he has mobility issues with weakness from multiple strokes. He weighs about 300 and is six foot 2 inches. He says it is comfortable and safe, and the arm positions are correct to push himself up off the chair.

This chair is very well made, is sturdy and fits well in my odd-shaped bathtub. It is lightweight and easy to remove from the shower when cleaning. I bought it to assist a large, very tall person who has balance issues and trouble reaching his feet and legs when showering. He reports it is comfortable and sturdy and that he feels safe using it. It is easy to assemble and has very clear, easily understood instructions. Although this chair will last a very long time because of its quality craftsmanship, I would definitely purchase it again if the need arises. It is very reasonably priced and a very good value for the money. I highly recommend this product.
