This compression kit is fantastic for preventing cauliflower ear and treating swelling after training. The magnets are strong but comfortable, and the pads are soft and easy to clean. My husband train BJJ and wrestling regularly, and this set has been a game changer for recovery and protection. It also comes with alcohol wipes and a storage case, which makes it very convenient. Great quality and very effective — I would definitely recommend it to all athletes!

The product consists of three pairs of magnets in varying sizes. The pressure is just right—not too tight, not too loose. I purchased this for my Great Dane, who suffers from cauliflower ears (apple turnover-sized ears). Depending on your dog's ears, the product might fit over the bleeding vein without alteration; otherwise, you may need to cut the magnet pairs into separate halves. For humans, unless you have exceptionally large ears, the three different-sized magnet pairs should be able to address the source of the bleeding. You could improvise your own neodymium set, but the rubber coating and the clasp are worth the price and make the product much more enjoyable than the diy version.

The magnets work do what they’re supposed to, but I’m not sure putting magnets on your ears after draining actually helps, at least it doesn’t help if you keep training without headgear. So if you’re going to pause your training for a few weeks to heal, or train without headgear after draining then these might help reduce swelling more quickly, but if you’re not going to alter how you train, then it’s better to just keep training as is and let it callous over, especially if you don’t care how you look.

I bought this ear magnet set for my husband who trains BJJ, and it works great! The compression is strong but comfortable, and it really helps prevent swelling after training. My son is a wrestler and got cauliflower ear. We had it drained the next day, but since it was still in season it h Kept filling back up. Then we were told about these. After a second draining we used these for a few days and no puffiness came back. Definitely use the pressure pads. Comfortable enough to use under headgear if still wrestling.

My keloid is too thick for this product. But I’m hoping after my 2nd removal surgery this product will help in preventing a third keloid post op.
