Got these in an attempt to find a plate with high enough sides that my very messy cat couldn't push his wet food off them and onto the floor. Seems like they do the trick so far! They're large, very solid and seem high quality. Only complaint is they're heavy as hell and difficult to fit in the dishwasher sometimes.

These dishes are well made stoneware, simple in design, and nice enough to go with any table setting. They're great for pasta as they're large enough to accommodate a healthy serving size while containing any possible spilling of sauce with their deep sides. But they're also great for salads, not so deep that makes cutting a problem, but deep enough to prevent dressing spills. And, by the way, they're also great for ice cream with sauces, and terrific for watermelon and other fruits that contain a lot of juice that could easily spill off a regular plate.

These stoneware pasta bowls are exactly what I was looking for to replace an old set I loved, except they are actually better! We use these as plates for small meals. For bowls of soup we set the soup bowl inside, and put our crackers or bread around the bowl. Makes varying that bowl of soup to the table much more comfortable too. I love these for salads, and oh yes, they work great for pasta too. No worries of pasta sauce, dressings etc spilling over the edge. No problems in the microwave so far. Seem to be very tough, unlike some ceramic one I have for company dinners that have a tendency to crack in the microwave. Finally, the price is reasonable. I couldn't believe what was being charged for four pasta bowls by many of the sellers here. These workout to a reasonable $6 each, at the time of this writing, which considering how much use they get, is an excellent value.

I was impressed by the way they were packaged. They were perfect when opened and were as advertised. I am enjoying finding new ways to use them. A great addition to my kitchen.

Nice size bowls good for soups , pastas, salad, etc… I ordered the white color and was pleasantly surprised that it matched my dinnerware set perfectly. I’m happy with my purchase.

One of the best kitchen items I bought. These are a fantastic size for soup, salad or pasta. Sometimes I forgo a dinner plate and use this instead. They are a perfect weight- easy to lift, but made of hardy material. They wash easily. The one thing I don’t know but may have missed in the packaging is whether or not they are microwave safe. Doesn’t matter. These clean easily with no scrubbing.

They are perfect in shape and size. I just thought they were more of a melamine or plastic material. (Maybe I didn’t pay attention) I love them though.
