Scissor Blade - Kill La Kill Ryuko Matoi Sword

Great quality for the price! Extremely sturdy. Made from wood and surprisingly lighter than expected. It opened it like the show and painted nicely! Perfect. Would def buy again.

the sword is incredible quality for the price. It's made of solid sturdy wood and has a good weight to it, it's not flimsy at all. Looks awesome in pictures and was perfect for my cosplay! One thing to note is that the handle has a hinge where it can swing away from the blade, so make sure to hold it from the correct side or it will detach.

Amazing, it looks like the real thing. My only complaint is that it chips easily and the color is a bit bright. If you're buying this for a convention, have no fear this prop will not be taken away from you due to it being wood and very light. I got many compliments and I will be repainting it darker but otherwise this sisscor blade will complete a ryuko cosplay.

Its a wooden blade, no sharp point. It's decently heavy, and could knock someone's light out if you whack them with force, but its sturdy, and the handle even separates for that extra edgeThe hinge on the handle needed a bit of oil, and I had to add some stronger magnets to the clasp so it would stay, but it was an easy fix and all in all, it's a good product.

At roughly 30 bucks you cant beat this prop! It arrived to me in near perfect condition, there was a little spot where the paint job must have overlapped causing some running, but you have to look very close to see it. Since I am repainting the blade with automotive paint this isnt an issue! It was packaged securely within 2 boxes,both sealed and in top shape.The blade is true to size, and very lightweight. I am 5'4 and It looks just right with my cosplay. For taller Ryuko's It might be a little small. Overall this is a fantastic product at a price you cant beat. Would definitely buy from again!

Its absolutely beautiful, especially for the price! You really can't beat it, plus it was packaged so well. Not a single scratch! The color is perfect and the blade is very sturdy. It's not heavy but has a nice weight. One of my best purchases in a while, can't wait to use for my cosplay!

Came fast enough and with no problem. One small detail, the blade is sharped on the wrong side. The curvy side is the blade, not the stright edge side. But i can sand and fix that. Paint job was a bit shoddy, but i can repaint.Edit 10/25: So I ended up buying this same blade again only because it comes the fastest and the cheapest. More still, the end was messed up (crushed) looking, the paint job is shoddy (but again I will repaint), Both sides are supposed to be sharp, not just the one, and now, even though the last one I bought was solid and the one in the picture is solid, I received one that opens? Hate to break it to the maker, but the magnet is no where near strong enough to make the blade hold shape when holding it the correct way. In the end I will make more changes and hope for the best. I would maybe add an option for the solid blade and for the open blade? Seems you send them out at random.

Great prop for conventions! This sword also extends just like the anime! The tip of the sword arrived a little damaged but it was easily fixed. I added some silver paint to part of the blade and cord around the handle, and it looks great!
