Great Dewalt quality at a great price. Very powerful and great battery life. The size is more compact than my older adewalt drils but it does not lack torque. The smaller size makes it more versatile. Very well built and durable just as I expect Dewalt tools to be.

I'm really happy about this purchase, I'm really pleased with its performance, I don't care much about the little extra weight, and I was super excited about the value for my money (including a battery and charger). My Milwaukee drill for years decided to stop spinning right after the warranty period expired (of course), then to replace the drill alone was $299 without battery or charger. I came across this DeWalt hammer drill with a beefy battery AND a charger for $243...!?!? I was like: Take my money yesterday son! I have a mix of Milwaukee (reds) and DeWalt (yellows), and the yellows never disappoint in price, quality, value, even though they're both comparable and get my jobs done effortlessly. I have to tell you though, this DeWalt hammer drill is a beast with its three speeds, and the selectable LED light acting like a flashlight on a pinch. On hammer mode, third speed, this tool packs a punch, and the battery just keeps on going! i've only charged it once after I purchased it with nearly every day usage.

Big upgrade from my 20 year old Dewalt hammer drill. I've drilled about 100 holes into solid concrete and cinder blocks with this and it cuts through like butter. With the old drill I'd get a workout doing a single hole. I've also used it to drill out spot welds from sheet metal and it's good for that too. It's seems very well-built and solid. If it lasts as long as my previous Dewalt hammer drill it'll be worth every cent.

Extremely powerful! Had to get a replacement Dewalt hammer drill ASAP and chose this one. Since I got it, I've never had regrets and my friends are all impressed at the immense power packed in this drill. Love the anti-rotation feature. Definitely has been saving my wrists whenever the bit gets jammed. No regrets!!!

I use this drill as an auger for planting seedlings....into the ground about a foot...somewhere between 2000 to 2500 holes during the planting season. This drill is heavy duty and does a great job.

Works great, but the tool bag is a disappointment. The tool bag is just a big bag with the parts loose inside. There are no dividers or padding so the drill, the detachable extension arm, the charger and the battery are loose to bang around together.

This is THE drill of drills…the do it all, hold my beer of drills. A little heft with the 8amp battery attached, but that only helps stabilize while you’re putting the heat to lumbar, metal or old school concrete. This drill is now easily my favorite of my collection of Dewalt drills. It has so much torque you feel like Thor when you pick it up, knowing it’s about to go thru whatever you need it to. This deal thru Amazon with the 8amp battery and fast charger is an absolute steal. The 8 amp battery has been for sale for $200 just for it.

For those fans of Dewalt, this is the ultimate drill to buy. It’s built solid and balanced very well with the battery. It’s just feels like a true workhorse for heavy jobs like it should be. Highly recommend buying this in a kit that comes with an 8AH Powerpack battery to fully utilize the torque available. Also, it’s well worth the price to pay for the anti-rotation system. Only high end drills comes with this system.

This new DRILL is powerful AF. I was able to drill concrete holes 5/16" with ease, replacing a dedicated SDS Rotary Hammerdrill. Don't get me wrong, a SDS is MADE for that task, but im just letting you know it will drill concrete up to 1/2" with ease. Having a high-end drill bit also helps a ton. Nonetheless, this thing is a BEAST. 10/10
