The bags were quite sturdy and held up to the corners of furniture and all kinds of odd belongings. They’re gigantic. I was able to fit an entire coffee table in one (although I couldn’t tie it, I could easily tape it closed.) A guitar case fit in one with extra bag to tie off. We used these to get an air tight seal around our belongings during a move. We were getting away from a bad apartment in a building with a pre-existing pest problem which the landlord couldn’t seem to get under control, and we were determined not to take any little bugs with us. I’ve never seen a bug problem before, and it was nightmare. We sealed these bags air tight around furniture and other items, double bagged, removed all our sealed stuff from that building, and kept everything sealed long enough that no bugs or eggs could survive that time without food or water. It was a stressful endeavor, but these bags gave us peace of mind because they were so thick, we could tell air wasn’t escaping, and they fit everything we needed them to. That was 9 months ago and we don’t seem to have any pests now, so I guess it worked! We didn’t know how many bags we’d need when we bought them, and this was way more than enough for our one bedroom apartment (with more belongings than should really fit in a one-bed.) We have a bunch left and I don’t know how we’ll use them, but they seem worth holding on to for now. I would recommend these for anyone who could use industrial strength bags.

Very large and durable. I purchased these to hold Christmas garlands and trees. Worked well.

Makes for easier disposal.

I like to photograph nebulae and whatnot from my back porch at night. Problem is I live on the windward side of Oahu where it can rain in the blink of an eye and is otherwise super humid. I bought these bags to throw over the scope during sudden downpours and to wrap the scope in during storage (along with about two pounds of silica gel) to prevent mold growth. They work great on all accounts. They are huge, lightweight, transparent, yet very strong. In storage they can wrap around the entire scope and mount. They are airtight so I can get the humidity down to less than 10% in under an hour. Best 30$ I’ve spent in a while

Maybe even a little too big. I purchased these to bag our Fall yard waste and (primarily) leaves as our county only accepts yard waste / leaves in clear plastic or paper bags or in a receptacle. Needless to say, when you have a lot of leaves, paper bags are way too tedious and fragile to work with, and I don't have enough large receptacles to handle the clean-up multiple times per per week with only one yard waste pickup per week. These bags are DEFINITELY thicker than the clear Husky 1.1mm bags I've been using for many years. As a matter of fact, I'm near-certain the Husky and house-brand competitors have all decreased in thickness and aren't necessarily available in a thicker version. I just hope our trash service will accept these giant bags. If not, I can always take them to our local trash / recycling center. At least I won't be messing with small(er) and thinner bags anymore. UPDATE on April 2, 2020: After my first season of use of these bags I can honestly say that I am fully satisfied with these bags. They are super thick and durable enough To handle all of our yard debris. From broken down twigs / sticks / branches to leaves. These bags completely out-performed any bag I’ve ever used!

Great product

These bags are so useful and strong. I bought them for my small family business ( not for garbage, but to bag oversize items purchased, yes they are presentable for that purpose ). But for the first time I needed something huge for garbage. I used only two to wrap my son's extra long twin mattress for garbage pick up! They are expensive but for what I needed they have been invaluable.
