Exfoliating to the max! I bought this scrubber 3 years ago and get replaced it a month ago. This sponge Exfoliates without feeling rough on your skin. I use everytime I shower and make sure to throw it in the wash with my clothes at the end of the week. The material isn't porous so I drys in about 20 minutes if even that. It helps reach the middle of my back without the struggle aswell.

This sponge is decent, but I think my expectations were too high based on all the TikTok hype. It definitely lathers well and dries quickly, which is a big plus, and it feels like it’ll last much longer than a regular loofah. That said, it wasn’t quite the life-changing experience I was expecting. It’s exfoliating but a little rougher than I prefer, and the size took a bit of getting used to. Still a solid product overall, just not the miracle I thought it would be.

After using the sponge just twice, I can already see and feel a remarkable difference in my skin. It has become noticeably smoother, and I’ve observed that some of my dark spots are beginning to fade away. This is my first experience with an African Net Sponge, but I had high expectations based on what I learned from various TikTok videos. Many posts emphasized that an authentic African Net Sponge should be lengthy and have a distinct bounce. I’m pleased to report that this sponge more than meets those criteria; at 6 feet tall, I can confirm that it is longer than I am! Additionally, it has that delightful spring-like bounce that enhances the experience of using it. The texture and elasticity align perfectly with the descriptions in the TikTok videos I viewed. Given all these factors, I am confident in saying that this African Net Sponge is indeed authentic and truly lives up to the hype!

You're probably here because you didn't want to spend $30 on a net sponge but ads keep telling you that you need it and you said "I can get one cheaper on Amazon". This is not a real African net sponge! It is only 6" wide and I don't know how long because I had to knot it on the ends to be able to have some sort of grip on it. Since it's only 6" wide dry, that turns into 3" of netting while your trying to wash unless you keep stopping to open it up. It does lather well so your body was will last a lot longer. My biggest problem besides the width it is that it leaves scratches on my back. Scratches that take at least a week to go away. It also leaves tiny scratches on my upper arms not as bad as my back but still scratches. It does work well on my legs. I did boil it before first use but it still leached black coloring for a few showers and it did have some knots fall of but it wasn't bad. Overall, this was a waste of money, hard to use because of the small width and extra long stretch when wet and too scratchy for my back. I would not buy again or recommend.

So this worked really well as it was intended. It was long and could reach all the way across my back, and had no smell upon opening. It helped lather my soap really well and it felt nice and soft on my skin. However, the blue dye kept leaching out even after washing it in the washing machine and several uses with soap, and fragments of the mesh kept coming off as I was using it. I threw it away because it feels like I’m contributing to the issue of microplastics when I use it. Not the best quality.

I’m actually upset I haven’t tried these earlier, it’s literally the best shower scrub I have ever used. The lather it creates is absolutely fantastic, I tested it with a body wash that I thought didn’t lather very well and this net sponge creates so much lather it covers my entire body with one squeeze of body soap. It’s nice and long so you can scrub your back and all parts of your body with ease. It gently exfoliates as well so my skin has never felt softer. It hangs to dry and it dries quickly, so it’s much more hygienic than my other shower scrubs. I will never go back.

This is an authentic African net sponge with knots. It seems to be good quality (same as any I’ve been given straight from Africa) and I love that I was able to get one in white, and with overnight delivery. Many sold here are actually just mesh and not the same as the authentic knotted ones — you’ll want to make sure you get one with actual knots like this. These really are the best — they exfoliate well, last a long time, dry quickly staying more hygienic, and can be thrown in the wash with your towels and washcloths! I highly recommend.
