Nice Carry Holster for S&W SD9VE, with Mods
With a Smith & Wesson SDV9VE, I had to cut about 3 stitches at the trigger guard and 4 stitches at the barrel, (single-edge razor blade) which left it snug. I assume the holster will stretch a little in time so I didn't want to cut too much out and end up with a more sloppy fit. This weapon is mid-sized and a bit blocky with a 4" barrel. It would seem that a full size, 5" bbl, 1911 could work but it would have a lot of barrel protruding beyond the bottom of the holster. With picatinny rails, that could be pretty uncomfortable. With a shorter barrel, say a compact at 3", this would be a go-to holster for sure. With the cuts I made to remove stitches, I could have gone too far? I do seem to have two positions for the weapon in the holster, one is perfect height, the second one the front sight (not ramped) can be fully exposed beyond the holster and can snag on the holster a bit on the draw. That one's on me I think, not the holster. When cutting, be diligent and remember that the retaining strap is very stretchable. It is difficult to ascertain if you should cut for the barrel or the trigger guard. I may add some stitching or a rivet just below the trigger guard and deeper into the holster to maintain that first higher position consistently; a possible future review update. It's pretty smooth at the draw and takes a little help from your second hand to re-holster because the holster, being soft, does collapse. I can live with that. Back-carry would be an awkward re-holster, but I'll try one. I'll review that on the left-hand holster purchase page.It doesn't come loose from the belt when drawing, but my belt is a heavy-duty 1-1/2" wide with thicker leather. I'd like to try the "ratcheting" and slightly stretchable belts like the ones made by Bulliant here on Amazon.Wearing short pants and a tee shirt, I do get a little printing with some shirts, but not so much with the more loose ones (obtw, I haven't seen my abs in years; I cook a lot <wink>).Overall, this is so comfortable, it is worth some extra work to customize the fit and weapon riding height in the holster. It is a decent alternative to the molded hard-form holsters popular with many people, and inexpensive enough to give it a shot.

Best IWB Holster I have ever used!
This is far and away my favorite holster. I bought it because it was cheap. I went on to try various other holsters like Kydex, Bellyband, OWB holsters. I tried so many other holsters, but I keep coming back to this holster. It's the best holster that I have ever used. I have a varied firearm collection and this holster fits it all with ease! G3C, G3, G3 Tactical, Taurus 1911 and most recently a TP9 SFX Canik WITH a flashlight/laser sight. The last weapon is a beefy gun, but this holster handles it with ease! I'm going to push this holster to its absolute limit when I put my compensator on my Canik and then try to keep the flashlight/laser combo unit on there too.I appendix carry on my right, and this fits in there with no issues. I wear my pants/shorts below my stomach on my hips. It doesn't have anything to jab into my hip bone like my Kydex holster does. It holds the firearm in a very comfortable position even during long trips. The clip is great and once you put it on, it is not coming off. The draw is smooth from the holster and it doesn't get caught, even the large longer sight on my G3 Tactical doesn't get caught on this holster. The holster stays in place during drawing too and doesn't come up with the gun.Overall, you can't get much more value for your money than this holster. I have been using it for a year and, as stated above, was putting all kinds of different firearms in there for both short term and long term holds. I can't recommend this holster enough!

Great for Hellcat, not Walther with light
This works great for my hellcat with laser. Fits great and made nice and feels comfortable. Bought a second to put my Walther PPQ m2 5", with BLDR mini light. That was a no go. Basically wound up destroying the second one trying to get it to fit. Probably would have worked without the light, but I wanted something that I could use with the light. Oh well. Not too expensive and worked great for my Hellcat. Would still suggest, just not for larger firearms with under barrel attachments.

Simply perfect for concealmant
I’ll keep this straight forwardThe product is amazing hence the 5/5.What I carry is a full frame 5” 1911 and it fits snug and perfect. It’s very comfortable doesn’t feel awckward or anything honestly just comfy period. As for the magazine holster it’s the very samePros1. As stated previously very comfortable2. Easy to put on and take off3. Feels very secure when on4. Is concealed! Even wearing a shirt that barely loosely fits you CANNOT see itConsThere are none!Seriously I rushed to get these pictures done cause I didn’t have the most time but I’m not overweight but obviously not skinny. The shirt I’m wearing fits comfortably and depending very little on how you position it at worst it’s slightly visible but very slightly. The only con ive read or could think of if it were me as well is NOT a conThis holster is for concealed carry (know the law for your area) but the POINT of a concealment holster is to CONCEAL your sidearm and to be able to easily draw (unholster and aim) at this point you are deterring a threat or putting a threat down.I say this because reholstering is not as fast or easy as a standard holster rather it be shoulder, hip, or leg it’s just not super fast because it’s all inside the pants and close to you (I guess if I were slimmer it would be easier)But that’s a body issue for myself not the manufacturers or holsters fault people get confused. But like before the holster is very easy to remove and put back so in a manner of seconds (minutes of owning the damn thing) I unholstered and aim, undid the holster with one hand and put it all back together and in my pants in less than a minute it is not super inconvenientBut it’s purpose is not to holster and reholster its concealmant with a fast draw (unholster)So no consFantastic feel, to the point plus it’s at an amazing deal
