I would buy this product again. It did everything it said it would do.
This product was easy to use. It was easy to apply. Dries quickly. Great coverage over terra-cotta pots. The finish was nice. Drying time was as it said. So happy with this product.

Good quality for making pastel painting surfaces
This was my first time using this type of gesso, and it worked great. I combined the gesso with pumice and water to create a large rough surface for pastels on matboard, and it was a fraction of the costs of regular pastel paper. The quality of the gesso is great, and the price reasonable.

It is a nice size jar. It certainly will be used. Pleased that it covered my wood box with only a small amount of gesso. So, I think it will be an economical purchase.

Good product
Working first time with this Gesso Primer. It's thick, easy to apply on. The texture and consistency is good. I used a little acrylic paint to dilute it. I am not sure it it smells a little bit or not even after drying.

I like using the Bluebird heavy gesso with my acrylic paints. It makes painting on canvas smoother. I like that you can thin it out with water if need be, It also makes for a good base coat before you lay your paint on your canvas. I would really recommend this.

Does what it claims.
Used it on a wooden panel, which I intend to have hand painted by an artist. The base coat on the wooden panel was smooth and white. Absolutely recommend the product.
