I was told my shotgun's front bead was 6x48 thread. That was wrong. Instead of going to a gunsmith, I found this HIVIZ product. It's the perfect solution for installing a new front sight on a shotgun when you do not know the correct thread size. HIVIZ provided 5 thread sizes to match your specific gun, so you don't have to guess or recut the threads on your gun. That is the reason I purchased it. Any other sight you better know the thread pitch. Some reviews say the material is soft and they damaged the threads screwing them into their gun. It's designed that way so you don't damage your guns threads. That's why you test fit the different adapters to see which threads on properly. The fiber optic is standard stuff, it needs light to work. It's not a low light/night sight. I'm highly satisfied with the sight's quality and ease of installation. I needed tweezers and my reading glasses to install.

A tad small
Well i got this for my stoeger/ benelli front site replacement for the red site, well i was a bit disappointed, the thread pitch is “ the same” but the fit is loose, also the wite is about half the diameter of the factory benelli red site fyi, but the green does pop, wish it was bigger is all
