I purchased the 2mm rope chain S925, 14k plated Gold chain in a woman’s size 18” which was the ultimate fit for me! Very easy transaction, as well as prompt shipping! I was shocked to find this chain that’s very high quality, well made at an unbeatable price!! I love that it’s lead and nickel free, which means it won’t have any fading, or color discoloration! these 2 are NOT gold plated (Amazon AI still needs a bit of work!) but very well made. Nice 925 silver, if stamp is to be believed; outer white chipboard sleeve a little ripped but inner, royal blue gift box in perfect condition. would buy again. good sized and sleek lobster clasp.

PLEASE DO NOT BUY THIS. It seems pretty when it arrives. As the days passed it became duller. I thought I should try silver cleaner. It didn’t help. When the 30 day return window hit, I noticed my necklace was black, not silver. THIS IS A SCAM AND I bought this to hold my mom’s ashes. It’s amazing how little by little it began to turn colors. I got silver cleaner. It didn’t help because it’s not SILVER. I PROMISE YOU IT IS JUST SOME KIND OF JUNK METAL. SELLER refused to respond to me. I am devastated. I lost my mom. I trusted this seller to keep her ashes on a pretty chain. The chain is GROSS.

My wife and I absolutely love the chain necklaces! They are strong yet delicately elegant. And the diameter is just right as it fit perfectly through my pendants bail. I've ordered several different lengths and finally obtained one at a perfect length as I am tall. I would recommend to always check your items closely for kinks and irregularities as in manufacturing, strange things can happen. As I was examining my chain I noticed a sharp needle-like point stuck in the chain. Had I immediately worn it without examining, it would have cut and scratched my neck. But I was able to pull out the needlepoint with a pair of pliers and it is a beautiful and comfortable necklace/ chain now.

This is not real silver. After having it for a few months it started turning my neck a grey color. I do give it 3 stars for the durability.

Arrived in a good looking branded blue box. Inside is a clear plastic sealed bag containing the chain. This is a pretty chain that has the 925 stamp denoting it is Sterling Silver (92.5% silver). My wife has a silver pendant that she wears every day and even sleeps with it on. The pendant is on a silver chain that is an expensive designer one which is sturdily built but she’d rather not wear it all of the time primarily because the chain is a bit too short at 16”. This chain is 18” which is the perfect length for her although it is a bit thinner than she had anticipated at 1mm diameter. The listing is very clear about the thickness but she didn’t really register this. It is a good quality chain that has the ends directly joining the jump ring. Due to the thickness, she intends to wear it with slightly less heavy pendants. Overall this is a nice, quality Sterling Silver chain at a reasonable price of £13.99 at the time of this review.

This silver chain is very sparkly, polished well with marks (925) on the oblong chain track and the clasp. It's comfortable and looks good, but although the width of the chain links is 1mm, the first track is about 3mm wide, so this chain won't fit something with opening smaller than this: you can always remove the link (the next one is very small ring that fits the clasp) or press it in order to reduce the width, but nevertheless - it's going to need rework on your side. There is another thing that may cause an issue: the round track on the clasp isn't soldered closed. Also the maximum length of the chain is stated to be 45cm (18 inches), but in fact is about 47.5cm. It came in brilliant blue box, but there is no cushion, so keep that in mind if gifting it as a present.

I've tried a number of things to try and show how delicate this chain is, and the best I can do is draping it over a 1p coin ! I've always preferred delicate and classic jewllery to chunky and colourful, and I would have been thrilled to have been given this as a younger teen. The only let down (in my eyes) is the fact that it arrives in a jewllery box, but in a plastic bag instead of on a display card. The chain was starting to knot up by the time I opened it, but (owing to many years experence of unknotting chains) I was able to untangle it very easily.

Currently retailing at £13.99,this plain chain silver necklace comes in a presentation box and seems like good value. The chain is a good length and the clasp is a good size to grip and use. A pendant can be put on. The chain is marked 925 for silver and also stamped Italy. I did find this chain design a bit rough against my skin - they feel a bit like rubbing against a zip but I did get used to it after a while.

This is a simply lovely chain. It’s 18 inches long, and fine - 1mm I think. It’s delicate, but strong. When I opened the packet (sealed in plastic in a nice blue box), I noticed it was super sparkly. It doesn’t have any stones, obviously, I think it’s just the way the chain is cut - it reflects the light beautifully. Whether you’d like to wear this alone as a subtle delicate necklace, layered with other silver chains or with a pendant on it, it’s perfect as a basic but beautiful piece. And at the price, for 925 sterling silver, for yourself or as a gift, you can’t go wrong.
