Better Than Cimetidine!
I tried Cimetidine and it only lasts a very short time. Famotidine works much better in my case. This stops the pain and burning in about 40 minutes after taking. One pill too.

Give it a try! Very cost effective!
Very good cost effective substitute for name brand acid reducers! These 20 mg tablets are very easy to swallow and provide good results in most individuals for heartburn/indigestion related to acid reflux. The ingredient (Famotidine 20 mg) is USP grade and very similar to Pepcid. I take one at night and one in the morning as recommended by my gastroenterologist. This is a gluten free H2-blocker which works as an acid reducer to help relieve heartburn. As far as duration, my tablet at night does not last 12 hours (4 stars for this reason). In all fairness, my acid reflux may be more severe than another user. For the money it is a very good product if you have discomfort from indigestion. If the pain is severe or prolonged over and extended period of time ... see your physician!

Square is awesome!!!
I LOVE that these are a square pill. They no longer get mixed up with all of the other tiny round pills in my hand. This is truly the only feature that sets these apart from most of the generic famotidine on the market. They are very tiny, too, so should not be a problem for anyone with pill swallowing issues or reflux. I’d also like to think the smaller size means that they have less filler compound compared to other brands. With that being said, I also do not take these for stomach acid or reflux issues, so I cannot speak on their effectiveness in that regard. Famotidine is an H2 antihistamine, and a critical part of my MCAS protocol. Using the available coupon and Subscription discount, pricing was comparable to Costco/Sam’s Club. I would still re-order these simply for the unique shape.
