Fits great on my MacBook Pro. The installation was easy, and the matte transparent finish looks clean while still protecting the surface. It’s priced well for the quality, and it does a nice job preventing scratches without changing the look of the laptop. Would highly recommend if you want simple, effective protection.

The skins are almost transparent, with a very slight matte finish. They go on easy and fit the laptop features perfectly. I took my time aligning the skins and smoothing them out with the included tool. Any of the very minor lines or trapped air bubbles smoothed out easily and disappeared after a few hours. The slightly matte finish seems to give the laptop more of a non-slip grip and feels good in the hand. Based on initial use, these should really help keep the laptop scratch and smudge free.

I found these skin protectors to be very easy to install, about the same as an iPhone screen protector. I haven't ever used a laptop skin, but I decided to purchase these since my last Mac laptop had some scratches on the exterior after ~8 years of use, despite always keeping it in a case. I still use a case, but like that these offer surface protection even when in use, and are much thinner than a hard shell. Appearance wise: I can hardly tell a difference. I don't think you would even notice them unless you're looking for it. I decided not to put the protector on the mouse pad since it adds a bit more friction than the mousepad itself. Value for the money to protect what's probably the most expensive thing I own besides a car is great. I didn't have any issues or notice glare from my laptop before, but if that's something you struggle with, I can see how the matte skin would alleviate glare. Overall excellent quality and I recommend this item.

Overall, I’m ok with this product. The cuts fit very well and lined up exactly as expected. It also came with easy-to-use applicators that made positioning and applying it simple, even without prior experience. The installation process was straightforward and didn’t take long. On the downside, the material quality is decent but not amazing. It’s not as crystal-clear as I imagined and you can definitely tell there’s a clear vinyl layer. There were also a few small air bubbles near the logo area, and the surface seems like it could scratch fairly easily if you’re not careful. That said, for the price it is not worth since ive tried other brands in similar range with better quality but for ease of application it has been the easiest one i have installed. it does what it’s supposed to by protecting your computer but dont expect it to look perfect.

Not satisfied with this MacBook matte protection film at all! Very dissatisfied 1) the Apple logo isn’t cut out in the film causing a noticeable air void gap in the film! 2) the film clearly isn’t cut to fit the MacBook correctly due the missing logo cut out and incorrect edge sizing 3) the film is super low quality leaving minor bubbly/wavy/hazy look on the product I install paint protection films on to cars for a living and can tell this film is super low quality and not cut specific to this MacBook I would want to return/exchange. But not sure it’s possible now that it’s installed

So far so good. My ASUS Zenbook is very susceptible to marks so thought I would try this protective film. It was super easy to install on my ASUS Zenbook. However it doesn't have any guide stickies like the instructions and the video indicate. I could only use the top cover film; the bottom film is not the correct form factor for this laptop, of course. Will have to wait to see how this holds up over time. It would be good if the manufacturer could sell just the top film alone for a lesser price so it can be used for other brands that don't need the bottom film.

The skin looks pretty ok and it's relatively easy to apply although some sort of alignment tool or guide would have been useful. Does not look "cheap" like other ones I've tried. However, the quality is just ok. One of the edges on the top skin is not smooth (a little rough). You can see a small defect and can definitely feel it.

First I want to say from the standpoint of packaging and items included to perform installation, 5 stars. Installation was not difficult. I ordered 2 kits, one for my 15” m2 macbook air, and one for my 14” macbook pro. Both kits included top/bottom and inner skins. I application technique I used was both dry and wet/soapy techniques, starting with my 15” macbook air. (I’m a fan of the wet technique and much much easier). Just have an absorbent towel as seen in the demo videos, works fine this way. I applied the outer front, and inner (wrists rests area) but decided not to apply the bottom skin piece. I had previously applied grippy abrasive tape strips (the 2” sandpaper like tape used on strairway steps to prevent slipping) along the bottom to prevent sliding off my lap, and after applicaiotn of the first two skin pieces, decided the skin material was not to my liking and not worth removing/reapplying the tape strips off the bottom. I also concluded at this point in the process that I would return the 2nd kit intended for my 14” macbook pro due to the material being too thin, too smooth and, yes, too “unnoticeable” (to my fingers). I need to add that I am from the catagory (probably in the minority) of device users who likes a grippy tactile surface. (think rubberized coating on levono thinkpads, rubber/silicon type iphone cases, etc.) Most cellphone case materials, outer skins, supposed “grip” products in general out there for all devices claim grip but are hard with a dry/slippery feel... to me. I did my best prior to purchasing to scour the reviews and online info to better understand the type of material these skins were made of. Pictures and comments can only tell you so much. I was hoping to find something simular to an older product I had used for iphones, ipads, and macbooks in the past made by a company that no longer exists (BestSkinsEver). A clear, thicker, skin that felt like super thick plastic wrap.. a little like those car window friction fit decals. Tough, durable, with a very slight stretchiness. So this review and outcome boils down to to the material not being what I had hoped for such as: 1) a thicker skin that provided a different feel in terms of surface grip/friction. While not wanting a spongy feel, I was hoping the material had enough thickness (extra mm or two) that created a very slight, subtle “give" to it that increased the grip. 2) a material that would change the feel of the macbooks smooth bare aluminum that translated onto more frictional drag when sliding your finger pads across it = better grip. I can’t comment on the degree of protection the skin will provide as of yet, being only a couple weeks on, but presume it will. That said, if your only goal is a product that offers some “protection" while simultaneously being as non-existent as possible (both visually and tactilely), then this product may be exactly what you’re looking for. However, if improving the surface feel and grip is important, a product that your fingers can feel/know is there, I would not recommend. In fact, you may feel a subtle reduction in grip with these skins.

The bottom piece seems to fit nicely. Will be 5 stars if the top piece is slightly bigger without leaving a slight gaps on all four edges.

The product does what it’s meant to do, however the installation is way harder than you’d think. The bottom panel does NOT line up too well with screw holes and the feet.
