Fits perfect on an SXP Defender!
Fits perfectly on the Winchester Defender SXP shotgun! Nice quality as you would come to expect from Monstrum! Easy to install! a lot of people ask about what light to use since it's a very specific size. I went with a Blukar rechargeable purchased on Amazon. It is NOT a super bright light but it fits perfectly and is a nice small piece that does the job. It also has an adjustable beam so you can spread the light out or pinpoint it on a smaller area!

Solid, Attractive Mount at a Great Price.
This is a great mount. True to the other reviews, this mount fit perfectly on my Mossberg Maverick 88. It is solid, looks great, and the sling attachment is a great plus. Of all the mounting options there are really just two that I seriously considered and this one is comparable to the other option at a much better price point. This is at least the 4th Monstrum product I’ve purchased and all have been excellent options and great values.

Does Not Fit Mossberg 500c 20GA
The Product is very nice, a brushed matte black finish. feels like some sort of metal. but it is almost a half inch to big for my Mossberg 500c. which is okay because im going to try to just sand down one of the sides and see if it will fasten up. Update**** I had my older brother grind down the sides about an 1/8th of an inch total for both. And it fit right up. kinda dissapointed it didnt come with a cheap flashlight atleast would be more worth the money for gambling roughly 30 dollars just to see if it will work for youre gun.

Pretty Good!!
Easy install but the screws that comes with it are to short for a Mossberg 88. Overall good buy and would buy again!!

It works with some ingenuity.
I feel the people making these in China don't know what a Remington 870 is. That said, I made this mount work on my 870 youth 20 gauge with an aftermarket mag extension. I had to flip it upside down (as others have mentioned) because the mag tube is larger diameter than the barrel and the mount has two different radii, that will put the gun light down below and to the shooter's left of the barrel closer to my fore hand which I prefer, so not a problem in my case. That assembly using trimmed up adhesive pads fits well and actually helps reinforce my mag extension in an additional spot. Next issue which is a common theme in the reviews is the extremely small tolerance afforded for a given weapon light diameter....you will need a micrometer to peg this one! I'm sure there are a few lights out there that are a dead ringer for this loop, but I can't find any hints in comments or reviews. I've already tried a perfect 1.0 inch dia. light and it's seriously a micrometer too big to get the first bolt threads started....I think they measured the outside of the loop instead of the inside? Anyway, what makes this a big problem is that you don't want a shimmed light, especially on a shotgun, so you have to find the perfect fit that is actually a hair big, but not too big to get at least a couple threads tightened....probably down to trial and error, so if someone finds the magic flashlight that fits this to a tee, let it be known! The last issue (which won't be for most of us) is that the tiny nuts are a tight fit into their respective impressed nut seats, so you just take a small hammer and block of wood to pound those in without scuffing any metal. Good luck!

Fit perfect... No issues.
after reading many reviews I was a bit hesitant about purchasing... but took the chance. arrived right on time and was pleased to see that it was all aluminum built. Great quality and for a great price. Fit my Moss 500 with no issues at all. I saw that the flashlight was up above the barrel and I wanted mine below. Does not get in the way of the slide at all.

Fails as a sling, and fails as a light mount.
I have a Mossberg 500. I have a 1 inch diameter "tactical" Bushnell 400 Lumen flashlight ...* I have a sling. I purchased this product, installed it. I found that the flashlight mount is off on its diameter and its enough to allow my flashlight to float freely. It's only tight enough to hold it straight and keep it from falling. The sling mount itself works fine. The product doesn't sit securely between the mag tube and barrel. It will slide around as far as your foregrip will give it room to. Total waste of money. It does not fit. DO NOT BUY THIS. *that has proven itself sturdy enough to sit right next to the concussive force of a 12 gauge barrel and never have a single issue. Every other flashlight i've used on my shotgun would eventually break some way or another. Not the Bushnell

Easy solution
If you got thumbs and 2 eyes you can install this. It would not be easier. The J5 Tactical flashlight fits nicely . Its an excellent quality item..
