Excellent Value
After my Air3 didn't survive an accidental wash and dry cycle, I replaced with the Air5. Overall, I believe the Air5 is an excellent value. SoundPEATS has added configuration flexibility for Air5 which I'm not sure is good or bad as it took some time to optimize the sound using the various ear canal options and equalizer settings. The net is that I believe the sound is similar to the Air3 which is exceptional for a semi-in-ear style earbud and comparable to similar style Apple earbuds IMO. (Note: i settled on ear canal 4 and the equilizer options shown in the image.) As for ANC, if you keep your expectations low, you will likely be happy. It definitely makes a difference, but doesn't completely eliminate external noise. I like to use it at the gym to partially neutralize the songs played over their speaker system. I'd guestimate that it cuts the noise by a third to half.

ANC Works but case pins not so great
The ANC on these headphones work better than you think. Don't over think it these are open headphones but when you take them off you can hear the TV and world a little louder so it's doing something which is cool. The case kinda sucks.... The design is great but when you put the buds back in make sure you see the blue-ish connection color show up for each bud to let you know it has been placed on charge. Or you will come back and find your left or right bud dead because it didnt sit right. Or you take them out the case and 1 bud does not turn on because it auto shut off and never charged and didnt auto turn on. Also trying to get them in they miss a lot and slip and magnetize to the case or slide around or fall out when you try to put them back in or take out. The lid is too tight and doesnt open wide enough. I like these a lot besides the case issues. The air 3's are still better in sound but if you have ANC on which you should turn on right out the box it sounds great. Looking forward to the next version with a better case design.

READ THIS, MUST DO! Fix settings Before you complain/ return
Do this first and you will be blown away by how detailed and clean the sound is. 1. Proper pairing= no issues: Open case so earbuds turn on. Wait about 10 seconds then close case so they turn off. Open case again and now u can take them out and pair to phone. If you're not used to open ear, they feel like they'll fall off but you will be surprised how well they stay on plus they're so light you'll forget they're there. Out of the box They will have low volume and sound weak. Try this if you have a newer android. 1st unlock developer options (Google how to if needed) 2. with earbuds turned on. Out of the case, Go into developer options and do this, Disable Absolute Volume, turn on 'Show LE Toggle Option' turn on 'HD Audio' and turn on 'Enable LHDC 3DAR' leave everything else as is for now. codec should already be 'Qualcomm aptx' 3. Now from phone quick settings go into 'Bluetooth device details' (press and hold Bluetooth, hit gear ⚙️ to go into device details setting) turn off media audio and phone call, then hit back, switch off Bluetooth on phone, wait about 5 seconds and turn it back on. 4. Go back into Bluetooth device setting and turn 'media' and 'phone call' back on. (makes phone volume and earbuds volume separate otherwise volume will be low) 5. Go back into developer options to check that disable absolute volume and LHDC 3DAR' is still switched on. *Also If you have Dolby Atmos I would turn it off if you want to make a custom EQ. That's it for proper set up now you're ready to tune to your liking but you absolutely need the App for best sound. Just Download PeatsSound app, (NOT soundpeats, that's the old one) register to app, it's easy enough, you hit pair after picking the earbuds but you're already paired so give it a sec. I think I had to wait a few seconds. get out of app then go back in. Now you can play with EQ settings and customize however you like! Adaptive EQ wasn't great so I made separate EQ for each type of music I listen to. For best results take your time. Go somewhere quiet, turn off Adaptive Noise Canceling and try different ear canal, I found #2 was best sounding and best bass. start with soundpeats classic EQ so you have a good starting point then click custom and notice the flat difference. If you don't know EQs just play with one EQ bar at a time. Raise it up high, notice the effect then drop it low and notice the difference. Do one at a time so you learn how each one affects the sound. If you're struggling Leave the same song on repeat and make sure music is high quality so you get the best sound possible. Have fun! I wish someone broke this down for me because I almost returned them lol. ✌️🎧🤙

Decent Sound, Insecure Case
These were my 3rd set of Soundpeats earbuds. From an audio engineering standpoint, they're rock solid, and entirely in keeping with all my prior experience with this brand. Sadly, my time with them was abruptly cut short this morning because the charging case lid opens a little too easily, and the earbuds are not held in place at all well - while loading groceries into my car, the lid was apparently jostled open accidentally and both earbuds were flung out onto the pavement without my noticing. I was back home before I discovered the open - and empty - case hanging from my bag, and by the time I had verified the missing devices weren't somewhere in or around the house, and I'd retraced my morning route, it was too late. I found both earbuds in the market parking lot, thoroughly crushed.

Disappointed, but there are some workarounds for a couple things...
So far I'm disappointed. I bought these to replace a lost pair of Air3's. Adjusting the equalizer in your player doesn't help much. It's a pretty big difference with their app installed but you still get a lot of clipping when you try to push the bass at higher volumes. Their adaptive sound is a little better but not the greatest and still clips with higher volume. I strongly recommend you make any sound adjustments with their app at a lower volume or the gain for each range is awkward. I found that if i tune it at higher volumes when i listen to something at a lower volume it gets muddy and the treble gets lower than the bass and mids. I use often use my headphones in a garage while doing fabrication work, so I did a test run, the noise cancelation is fair but naturally in ear headphones will always do better at that, so I won't hold that against them. I absolutely hate that you have to use their app to get remotely decent sound. Here's a tip, install the app, adjust sound settings and force quit the app. I tried uninstalling the app after making adjustments with it and the sound adjustments have so far remained even after a reboot. If you keep the app installed i suggest you also disable the permission to launch links via the app. I haven't even bothered seeing how long they last. Good sound for audiobooks and listening to more casual music, but a big letdown in other ways. I guess I'm back to tearing the house apart looking for my old headphones. They're also not secure in the ears if you're moving around a lot. Whether I'm looking under the couch for my puppy's lost ball (I swear he does that on purpose) or getting under a car to do some work... but that is something that will vary from one person to the next. My last complaint is that when you take them out and put them in the case they don't stop playing until you fully close the case. I've found that the sound stops but the apps I'm listening to keep running in silence.

Broke upon arrival, degraded further from use
These things immediately broke: They sound great butn theyll cut in and out for the first 5 mins before they correct themselves. Im just so tired of trying to use them when the first minute or two is just me waiting for them to "recover". Great earbuds otherwise, in fact prob the best: Their ANC works pretty well and they dont have any silicone, so I enjoyed them ALOT.

Exceptional for the price
First off value for money is here. These are the best sounding wirelless earbuds for the price IMO. The fit is pretty comfy overall, gestures and touch work well. Calls are crystal clear and crisp. The ANC features are just the cherry on top. Would recommend to any non iphone user over alternatives and would recommend to anyone not wanting airpods for price or lack of love for apple. Will purchase the 6's if hey are better

Best bang for bucks!
Best value for money headphones for those who want to pay little and have excellent audio quality. I have several headphones, but this one is really good, the value for money is unbeatable. It's not my first Soundpeats, so I know the quality they deliver. Incredible value for money.

Soundpeats Air 5 is perfect!
Just got the SoundPEATS Air5 and they're seriously impressive! Super comfy open-fit design – no tips, no fatigue even after hours of listening. Sound is warm and punchy with great bass and detail, powered by aptX Adaptive and Snapdragon Sound for smooth, stable streaming. Adaptive ANC is solid for semi-in-ear buds, calls are super clear, battery hits 30 hours total, and the app EQ customization is a nice touch. Perfect if you want comfort and quality. 5/5, highly recommend!

Issue if u accept a call during the active of another call
Not recommending, if another call came during the waiting, earbuds will start shifting between the calls ( hold then unhold then hold then unhold etc…holding one call and retrieve the another one in a very fast way so you will not be able to continue any call of them, and it wasn’t an issue in one piece only because i ordered 3 times and all showed the same issue
