My favourite of the family
This one has a citrus spicy flavour thst I find works better than the earthy floral spice of the regular. I've not had the black.I also find this one provides a more discernable effect than the regular red version (at the 30 ml volume). Whether that's for real or I'm just more sensitive at the moment, I'd need to do more science to find out... But, since this one tastes better and is at least as effective, I doubt I will buy the other again. I positively like this one.Have been drinking it neat but will try a 'long' beverage with lemonade at some point.

Somewhat enjoyable but expensive.
Firstly the price. I believe it is a little expensive for 500ml. I tried it with both tonic water and also with sprite. Both tasted nice, but I would say with the tonic the ginger flavour is more pronounced. The sprite dulls this somewhat and adds some sweetness. Generally the taste is mild citrus with a definite ginger/spicy note. After one drink with around 40ml it did give me a noticeable heady, relaxed feeling however this was not intense and only lasted maybe 20 minutes at most. I would consider buying this again as a treat or I may try the other flavours.

Headache inducing
Disgusting taste and gave me the most horrendous headache worse than any hangover. No relaxing benefits whatsoever

GAME CHANGER!
This has been a complete revelation. We all have different relationships with alcohol; mine is as follows.I am in my early sixties, I clearly drink too much but can always function the next day which might be a curse in itself. The biggest issue apart from the effects on my liver is that my brain seems to find alcohol just plain moreish. If I have one glass of wine, I then want four. Conversely, I can happily go an evening without alcohol, and only drink after about 7pm. But annoyingly, alcoholic drinks taste nice - far better than mocktails in my opinion. So I tried Sentia Gold with an open mind.I looked up what people were mixing it with and plumped for two parts Sentia Gold, three parts freshly squeezed lime (or lemon) and topped it up with Sprite/7Up/equivalent to fill a coupe glass. The taste is demonstrably better than a normal mocktail but not as great as, say, a classic margarita or a glass of decent wine,I find I get a 'hit' quite quickly - faster than wine.I feel a little whoozy and relaxed, and can very slightly slur the occasional word. The effect/half life seems to be shorter than alcohol, but in a good way.I do not find it moreish or addictive, but I will tend to have a second 'cocktail' an hour or so later. There is no hangover. In fact, I seem to have extra energy in the mornings.Just possibly I get the occasional mild headache when drinking it - it is hard to say given there are plenty of colds and viruses about.Personally, I don't think I will drive a car etc straight after drinking it, just to be on the safe side.Best of all, it seems to put me off wanting to drink alcohol proper.I appreciate we are all different, but I would urge people to give this a whirl.I have not tried the other flavours yet - Sentia Gold tastes a bit like orange cordial.

Not for me
I was very sceptical of the claims when purchasing this product, but intrigued as to the potential. Unfortunately my suspicions proved to be well grounded. I finished an entire bottle within a hour hoping to find some kind of effect even faintly reminiscent of that of a traditional spirit, but sadly none was to be found. I might has well have been drinking cordial.I trust scientific enquiry will keep pushing the envelope forward, and I will remain a keen observer of further developments in this market place, but for now this will be my first and last purchase of this product.

Works - probably.
Had to give up the sauce for health reasons. I was not convinced this stuff would have any effect, but it did; I felt calm and relaxed quite quickly. Could be placebo. Not something I'll be drinking a lot of at thirty-five quid for a small bottle, but glad to know it exists.

Life changing
Omg super happy with this.My friend told me about it, and as I have an intolerance to alcohol for past 8 years, I thought I’d give it a go.This is a total game changer, I had two drinks mixed with Coke before my night out (approximately 50-70ml id say.Went to a bar to meet friends and definitely felt very relaxed and basically like I’d had a few glasses of wine. My partner who does drink tried it also and he said he felt drunk. We were just chatty and giggly and super relaxed. The taste is kind of strange. It tasted a bit gingery to me like ginger ale mixed with Coke. I think next time I would try it with tonic. But it was pleasant.I really hope they start stocking this in bars.100% recommend trying this.

That tiddly (and peckish) feeling
Sentia Gold tastes nice (especially with lemonade) and 10ml gets me tiddly. There's no hangover, which is a big plus. However, I find that alcohol makes me reach for food, and this drink does too. The drink itself is low in calories, of course.
