Why did my tds go from 0 to 2. I flushed for 2 hours tds started at 1 then went to 2. With my old 3 year old filter I was at 0 tds

There might be different reasons causing this problem. It is better to empty the tank 2-3 times after changing filters. You may also replace other filters and sanitize the system if you need to. You may check online about how to sanitize your water filter system. Please remove all the filters from the system before you start to sanitation procedure. If these don’t solve the problem, you may contact with Amazon customer service to return the item.

Is this Filmtec membrane made by Dow or Dupont?

DuPont merged with FilmTec company and became a part of Dow FilmTec. Eventually, they will produce all the Residential FilmTec Membranes, and we started selling them too.

is this made in usa? I see another listing with the same numbers on it that says "residential" and it says imported.. Its Dow and numbers are the same

i be leave if it says imported , its still an American product that's just assembled in another country. Dont worry they work real good ,Total TDS 000.

does this fit the 10"x2.5" canisters

The housing size for this membrane is approximately 12.5” x 2.5”. If your housing size is 10 inch, this membrane can’t fit in because the membrane itself measures as 11-3/4” x 1-3/4”. However, if you are replacing the same brand (Dow Filmtec) undersink RO membrane, there won’t be a problem. You may also check with your RO manufacturer.
