They work as intended
They work as intended to power low current devices up to one ampere. I like the fact that they're double-insulated because I've never liked grounding over isolation and it was a STUPID idea to go to a grounding system in this (USA) or any other country.

LED light is annoying
I got this as a replacement for a missing camera power supply. Other than the length, this one matches the original. Unfortunately that includes the annoyingly bright LED that is always on when the power supply is plugged in. I don’t know what makes these manufactures think that people want a bright LED lighting up the room at all times. We like the house as dark as possible when we’re sleeping, and these bright LEDs disrupt that. We have to cover the lights with tape. If these didn’t have the light or had a way to turn them off, I’d give it 5 stars.

A great option for a replacement
this adapter worked very well for what I needed! I haven’t had any issues with low charge or overheating. The alarm clock it is set up with, has not had any issues with a power outage or stuttering and I’ve never had to worry about it going out and me not waking up. The cord length fits perfectly from the outlet to my nightstand and I’m very happy that it worked so well.
