TOAKS Titanium Shot Glass (Pack of 2)

These do exactly what I want. Based on other reviews, people should note that they are smaller than a normal glass shot glass. These hold exactly 30ml (one ounce) if you fill it completely full to the brim. So they're about the size of those little plastic cups you get with a bottle of cough syrup.People should also realize that they have the Toaks "footprint" logo on them. The photo in the item description should show that, but it doesn't. I don't mind it much, but I'd have preferred them to be logo-less. I'm docking a star just because of this (it should be in the photo), though I wish Amazon would let me take off only a half a star.

The first go-round was a bit of a pain, and my original review reflected that. Short version; the package never arrived and the seller was unavailable to assist due to being out of country. However, they did handle the issue as soon as they returned and I later received my order.The "glasses" themselves are pretty neat little pieces of gear. I like taking a little bourbon into the backcountry when I hike, and drinking out of a mug or the bottle is a bit blasphemous. These little things weigh next to nothing and should do the trick nicely. I do wish they were about twice the size, but that's nothing another pour won't fix... Can't wait to try them out on my next trip.

These are a great solution if you want a shot glass on the trail or with you while you're out and about. I'm in Korea and the big thing is to grab a bottle of Soju but the proper way to consume this is in a shot glass. The only gripe I have is that these are 1 oz. and nothing more. most short glasses are 1.5 to 2 oz. so you can pour the shot and get your lips around the edge. For weight savings I get it but adding a little to the top would not hurt that much in my opinion. Other wise great light product that does what it says.

What are you looking for?If it's a super-cool set of ultralight shot glasses for sipping whisky (or tequila, or vodka, or soju, or whatever they drink in your neck of the woods) in style around a campfire, look no further. This is it.Maybe it's just a failure of imagination on my part, but I can't imagine why anyone but backpackers would want titanium shot glasses. They're definitely not as nice as regular glass shot glasses if you're sitting around at home. If you're car-camping, you have no reason to conserve weight, so bring the cut-crystal, by all means.These are smaller than regular shot glasses, and the titanium flexes. On the whole, it's a terrible option for anyone who's not counting ounces in their backpacks.But, really: serious style points for backcountry campers, weighing almost nothing? Sign me up!

I own a ton of Toaks products. So when I decided to get the shot glasses. I didn’t even look at the reviews. In the pictures with no reference they look great. I was expecting a regular shot glass size just in the cool Toaks titanium.Well I was wrong. They are too small to be useful. They hold 1oz to the top. So if you half pour to keep from spilling you get about 0.5oz. So be prepared to take multiple shots.Not sure if I would buy again...

I ordered these to take hiking, but when they arrived I was surprised to see that they are about half the size of a normal shot glass (and much smaller than a bar style shot glass). The titanium itself is fairly thin, I would worry about placing these in a pack and would have to take care so that they would not be crushed.I did like that this item came with a lightweight carry sack. and they will function, you'll just need to drink two shot instead of one ;)

I do like a wee dram in the evening. Nothing says backpacking like a titanium shot glass.

Works well and built well, super lightweight. Only problem is they're very small. Thimble size

The description says capacity is 375 ml. I was shocked how small these are and have since found out they are 30 ml size. If you use for cough syrup it might be useful. Never trust product descriptions as people are useless at converting American products to metric. It’s better they don’t even attempt.

These are incredibly small. Similar to drinking out of a thimble. Might as well drink from the screw cap of whatever bottle/flask you have with you. Ended up returning.

Like other reviews have mentioned, these are fairly small. For my needs - in a backpacking kit - they are great. Very sturdy and come in the standard Toaks orange bag with drawstring.

Product as decribed. People say they are small, well hello thats the point. I have 4 of them. Very light compact yet titanium made means their durable. Personally i like the size for a shot. Dont enjoy monster sized shots. 3/4 of an ounce (1/4 ounce spill zone ;) is the perfect amount to splash down the throat.4 out of 5 only knock is price is slightly rich but they should outlast you and your kids.

This is a pretty good value buy. They are very light and there's no metal taste. But the edges are slightly sharp. Would be nice if they rounded the edges a little more.
