The adjustable height makes it super comfortable to use for long hours, and the aluminum build feels sturdy and premium. The fan is quiet yet effective, keeping my laptop cool even during heavy use. Definitely worth it for anyone who wants better cooling and an ergonomic setup!

Very sturdy. Positions laptop screen even hight with monitor for viewing. Fan works good. Not to loud, 3 speeds, didn't test cooling temp change amount purchased for holding laptop higher. Comes with a tool to adjust tension of bolts that hold laptop higher and lower but didn't need to use it, enough play to adjust height. 14" laptop fits well stand is not bigger than laptop.

I was looking for some additional cooling for my laptop, saw this stand and realized the features of raising it up and tilting were also good additional benefits. I like the product and am glad I bought it. • It’s solid, well-crafted metal. • This unit’s swivel base makes for easy viewing adjustments. There are a couple of things to be aware of (hence the 4 and not 5-star rating): #1 In the position I have my 17” MSi laptop, it extends back past the top of the “tray” the computer sits on. That can cause the front of the laptop to lift up and no longer rest against the tabs that keep it from sliding down. It’s workable but I’m still experimenting with putting something behind the unit for support to prevent the back from pivoting down (see picture). #2 In my setup, the on/off buttons (for the fan and light) located under the front of the unit are difficult to access. I have the whole unit sitting on a speaker on my desk, so I’m not looking for height from the stand - only tilt (see picture). It should be obvious; I use a separate keyboard for typing. With 45 degrees of tilt, this leaves no room to reach the buttons with my finger. I use a pencil-like tool with a 90⁰ bend at the end to slide in and push the button. Not a deal breaker but definitely inconvenient. #3 I “assumed” (danger word) the fan direction would be sucking hot air OUT of the laptop, but its direction is INTO the laptop. It probably still helps with cooling but I was surprised by that. Good. That doesn't change the model I purchased but I was favorably impressed that someone at the company saw my feedback and forwarded it. Maybe they will tweak the product in the future to make it even better. I'm still satisfied with my purchase and product...

I'm so glad I opted for this (mostly) metal version, versus a cheap plastic one from a different seller. As we know, black plastic specifically, in gas off toxins that affect your overall health and hormones. So I usually go for lighter plastic, or - if I can avoid it - metal. Love the sturdy stand. It is not very loud at all, has 3 fan speeds, and the light can be turned on and off. Since I plug it into my regular outlet and not my laptop, the cable could be longer, but I am simply using one I had already. Otherwise, if you plan on plugging it into your laptop to run it, you'll be fine. Very nice addition to my workspace. I wish I had thought of getting this sooner. Also, super nice that the height and angle can be adjusted.

Very well made and great design. Most laptops would fit very well with no slip. I wish the tabs to hold the laptop were a little taller for laptops with a curved or stepped front edge and to allow for a slightly thicker set of pads to allow for airflow under the laptop. Functionally it works and helps to keep the laptop cool. With the included wrench it makes it easy to adjust the position of the stand and lock it into place.

Sturdy laptop stand and effective cooling fan that comes with 3 settings. The fan is not loud, which is extremely helpful while working, and it's not distracting at all.

The cooling fan is certainly the best part of this stand, but I worry about the actual quality and longevity of the piece as a whole. Surprisingly, the fan still works and was not the first thing that failed, as electronic components tend to be. The fan runs nicely and I feel it does cool off my computer to some degree during heavy use like small games and drawing programs. However, the joints and little rubber holders did not prove resilient. In just over two months after purchasing (and somehow just after the return window), nearly all of the rubber gripping pads have come off (and almost all of them have disappeared before they could be reglued). So be mindful to watch for both the large gripping pads where it holds the tablet and the small standing pads on the bottom to see if they come off. Alongside that, the joints do seem to loosen up just enough to lose the fight with gravity. I feel like I have had to readjust and retighten them way more than I should have to in order to keep them in a reasonable upright position (like the product images show). I can no longer return it, but I'm already considering purchasing another brand once I do a bit more looking and research. In the meantime, I'll possibly buy some more rubber gripping pads to glue in place of the missing ones and keep up the fight against the joints and gravity. It's not the worst stand I've ever owned, but be prepared for lackluster quality in some areas that will leave you a bit inconvenienced.

The Shuwei laptop stand has a nice blue grey shade. The laptop stand itself is light, yet sturdy since it is made of aluminum alloy. There are four suctions on the corners of the stand which secures the laptop to the table's desk and there are four suctions on the surface of the stand to secure the laptop. The bottom ridges hold the laptop when it is in a slanted position, so it does not slip off as well. You're going to have to add some pressure to the top or bottom ends of the stand to adjust it, so it can hold the laptop. There are four options for the fan button: off, low, medium, and high. The fan is very quiet and does a good job of cooling down my gaming laptop. Pros: - Sturdy and light stand; can hold large gaming laptops up to 15.6". Suctions are very secure. - Fan is quiet. Uses USB-C to keep it running. Cons: - Can be hard to adjust the stand in a specific slanted orientation. Not as easy to adjust compared to other laptop stands. - Running the fan requires constant USB-C connection. The stand's design is to have the USB-C directly connect to the computer and have the fan running simultaneously.
