Great digging adventure for any starwars fan.

This a perfect gift for the Starwars lover! I purchased this for a 5 year old but would be perfect up to age 8. It will keep them entertained for at least 30 minutes.

My grandson loved it

Picked this up for my kiddo, and gave it to them to play with for a bit. They really seemed to enjoy finding all of the treasures inside, and it kept them busy for well over an hour. They don’t know the show so well, but they love Star Wars and think that they just found a bunch of Jedi crystals, so I’ll let them enjoy that!

Soak it first or its difficult to smash through.

This Star Wars gemstone digging set is really fun! It comes with everything you need to dig out the gemstones - including three different plastic tools, as well as an instruction set and a poster that helps you identify the gemstones (it also has Mandalorian art on the other side of the poster). The plaster mold containing the gemstones is nice. It has a 3D design of the Armorer on the top that was so cool looking I almost didn't want to break into it.The instructions say to let the plaster sit in a bowl of water for 1-5 minutes before breaking into it with the tools. I soaked mine for about 3 minutes and found that it loosened the plaster enough for me to easily break it apart. It is quite messy, so you'll want to have a sizable space to work on this (even before I soaked it in water, the plaster was getting dust all over my table). It would be a good outdoor activity. Finding all of the gemstones was fun and not too difficult. The only slight critique I have is that the gemstones are very small (as you can see in my photo, all eight fit into the palm of my hand with room to spare). They look pretty and are easy to identify with the poster. However, if you are only interested in this set for the gemstones, they may not be as big as you expect.This is a great set for Star Wars fans! The box says it is suitable for ages 8+. Since the plastic tools are lightweight and there aren't any sharp edges in the plaster, I think kids would have a lot of fun with this. It's a good value for an entertaining activity.

He's a bit shy of the age recommendation, but our 6YO loved this. It took him a couple hours, but he complete demolished this entire set and got out all the gems. This is a pretty standard dig and reveal set, just Star Wars branded. I would've loved it if the gemstones were more SW-centric, like the gems one would find in a lightsaber, but it doesn't detract any from how fun this was for our kid. The chisel was a bit less sturdy than we'd hoped, but my son just took some of my tools and went to work. This would make a great gift for any little who likes to dig and unearth things.
