Struts worked perfectly. Unfortunately, I could not use one of the brackets due to location of attachment point.

You know when you have something for a long time, and it gets harder to use, you get used to it? The truck bed cover had gradually been doing that and we had to replace them. These were an exact fit for the Tundra and took less than a minute ( we timed it, had a bet riding on it, loser takes the trash out) because you know how it is, you say something should take 5 minutes and a half hour later you are working on it. I won, I said under 5minutes. Really took less than one minoe because I had moved the stuff in the back of the truck! the mounting hardware was an exact fit, they just popped on the pivot ball, and the lid works great. It did take two, one to hold the lid up and one to pop them on. Done and fanastic!

These are good quality and easy to install. Note that the 45lb is the lifting capacity of both struts together not individually.

So far this is working great. Not sure what the pounds were on my original but this one opens slower.

The struts work fine, but are too fat around to fit in their position. I had to file down the connector know for the door to close properly.

Product worked as was described, hopefully it will last for a long time.

after installed adjustable screw on end bent

Bought to replace on my patio furniture retractable awning. Works just as well as the ones that came with it. The ends can be unscrewed and replaced with whatever attachment end was on the originals so very happy with that. Would buy again.
