I loved this watch, it was a stretch for my budget as a teacher that doesn't make much money in a rural school, but I loved it while it lasted. The watch itself is amazing, and I am sure it is ticking still twelve feet underwater somewhere off the beach, unfortunately the pins that hold the band are very sub-par. I lost it the first time I wore it in the water surfing due to apparent pin failure. A diving watch isn't any good if it falls off so easily in the water due to cheap band/pins. I am so disappointed. Will have to wear cheap watch I can afford from now on.

I always examine my watches when I receive them. I collect watches. I noticed the plastic protectors were missing from this watch. The front and back plastic film protectors were not on the watch nor in the case. The watch band also had a scuff mark on it. Good thing I bought a replacement watch band. I think the band really makes the watch pop! The face of the watch is beautiful, so are the colors. It has a smaller face, I’m used to my watch faces a bit larger. I wish I would’ve received the watch in what should’ve been its original condition. I still kept the watch.

The Citizen Wrist Watch look like a good quality product I wanted. Went on internet to get instructions for settings were unsuccessful at spending time was flushing not able to succeed. At this time unable to get any information to setup first time setting so the only salutation is to return it back to Amazon. !!!!

The first watch it was defective and in a plastic bag, called Amazon customer service and they request a new piece for me but the second one it came in a plastic bag too, it is unbelievable how this watch don’t came in its original box, previous purchase was in it original box and case. Dissatisfied!!! After a few days item was faulty like the previous one Unbelievable worst experience ever! Returned item

The issue was the second hand is clocking in 3 secs per second movement poor quality craftsmanship. These are quality watches i’m disappointed with this. i hope they did not go cheap and using poor components. looking to a real watch maker in town to buy real one.

This watch only really works if you wear it out in the sun or under light. What if it's on my nightstand for the evening, in a suitcase, in a drawer or on my desk? Then it will stop working. buy a Seiko battery operated.

Looks great and all but the second hand skips a beat and does not run flawlessly. Check video. Will be returning this item.

Nice looking but fragile. Citizen warranty support is horrible. This so-called "dive watch" developed either a scratch or a crack within less than 10 times wearing it. All times were as a dress watch. It never went diving or was exposed to anything that should scratch any reasonably hard crystal. I sent it to Citizen for warranty support and replacement of the crystal. Their response was to offer to charge me $85 parts and labor to replace the crystal on a 3 month old watch that is supposed to carry a 5 year warranty for defects. That's almost half the cost of the watch, too! Key takaways: Citizen warranty support is terrible. The watch itself is pretty but not built to survive its intended purpose. My daily watch is an Apple Watch which has a very exposed crystal and it have never gotten scratched. Yet this Citizen "Dive Watch" got scratched going out to dinner? I won't be buying anything more from Citizen. I recommend you don't, either.

This watch is a great daily time piece. The Eco-Drive Solar Quartz movement is durable, accurate and does not require battery changes for an extended period of time with many users stating the watch has operated smoothly for more than 10 years. The case design feels extremely robust and is backed up by ISO Certified 200m water resistance. To further add to this, it also includes a screw down crown for more security. The lume is extremely good and the watch also features a date window. Lastly, I confidently chose this time piece as my daily due to Citizen's excellent warranty as well as the service center being only 45 mins from my home. When it comes to appearances, I personally enjoy the look of this time piece and have very little to complain about. This piece also comes in a multitude of colours and you will definitely find one that you would enjoy wearing on your wrist! Since this is a quartz watch, due note that there are times when the second's hands to not line up the the markings inside the dial. Mine did not have this issue but it is something to note! I did however run into this issue with my Citizen BM8180-03E which I also purchased on Amazon and this is where Citizen's warranty and service center location adds great value to this time piece. I dropped off my timepiece at their service center and filled out a short form for personal information. I received email confirmation of them accepting my time piece and after 4 weeks, I received my watch back with properly lined up seconds hand! Overall the only downsides I can think of is the strap. It definitely feels a bit stiff when you first get it but there are tricks you can find online such as using warm water and a cup to help form it to fit your wrist better! ***Note*** This Amazon sold model does not come with the strap that has the text for non decompression times and did not come in the traditional scuba bottle box.

This Citizen Promaster Diver is a great watch. I was a little bit of a skeptic when it came to it being solar-powered with its Eco-Drive but it proved to be worth it. It has a chunky feel and it has some weight to it in a way that makes me know that its stainless-steel case and bezel is quality-built. The crown, when pulled out to adjust the time, still feels a little fragile compared to the rest of the watch. Be prepared for the second-hand to be skipping the moment you pull it out of the box, you will have to give it a good charge in the sunlight or lamp-light(from a safe distance) to get that battery charged up for regular second-hand intervals. The Eco-Drive can not be overcharged so you can let it get some sunlight as long as you like without worry. 200m/20BAR of water-resistance is worry-free as well, just make certain that the crown is screwed in tight. Good lume as well, nice and bright. Read up on the watch's workings and how to set its time from Citizen's website and do not forget to REGISTER IT. Cool watch, I am glad I got the Affirm financing to purchase it for an affordable $307CDN; it usually sells anywhere from $370-$450CDN everywhere else. I recommend it.

Purchased this product almost a month ago. At first the packing. It was a huge box wrapped by some protective layer. Inside that box was lying a scuba tank which is worth seeing. Inside that tank, was the watch. Next the watch. You will be amazed to see the beauty of it. The polished stainless steel case, the glossy crown with the Promaster emblem in it, the highly glossy outline of the index markers will mesmerize you. The hands are beautiful with the hour hand outlined by glossy stainless steel, minute hand with vibrant orange outline, and the second hand is a thin white hand with a lume at the tip. The hour & minute hands are wide enough to see the time at any lighting condition. The dial is the deep navy blue colour (my favourite colour) on which the index marks & the hands really pop out. The bezel is also of deep navy blue colour. The strap is also navy blue colour which you may change if you donot like rubber strap. Now come to the time keeping capability of the watch. Its running 2 seconds late after 24 days. That means -3 seconds per month which is highly satisfied as you have to adjust time once in a year. Next the charging. The charging is quite fast. I opened the packing at night & after some exposure to the table lamp, it started running & I was amazed to see it running when I woke up in the morning though in a 2 seconds interval. After exposing it beside the window after about 2 hours, it began to tick in 1 second interval. Now the most striking feature of this watch - lume. Its awesome. You cannot understand this feature at the daytime, but at night, even in the middle of night, after 5 hours of last exposure to light, you can clearly see the glowing hands & markers with the naked eye (generally i use specs for reading & writing but to see timing in this watch, I donot use specs, it is so prominent). I was searching such feature in a watch for a long time & it is completely fulfilled by this watch. I really love it. Now the cons. The date window is really small though you can somehow manage to see it. the day is missing. The dial is quite large for small to medium wrists. The strap is of rubber. Final verdict : Every watch in this world has some pros & cons. It has also some. But despite it's cons, you should go for this watch without any hesitation as the appearance of the watch with deep navy blue dial & luminous hands & markers is great, the visibility of the hands is extraordinary, the lume is amazing with about -3 seconds variation per month. Its a must have watch. Addition after 7 months : it is running 8 secs late i.e., almost 1 sec per month. excellent.
